The mad god grinned widely, then laughed once more at Clockwork's guesses. Oh, that is just TOO FUNNY! You, you SERIOUSLY think that she LOVES you?! Oh, how hiLArious! Ah, but I think, I THINK, that I shall leave that little MYStery for YOU to figure out, hmm? Always trying to make SENSE of everything, especially HERE of all places! AHAHAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAAAAAAAAAAA!The purple sky that wasn't there before and yet was still somehow INSIDE the dungeon and UNDER them rained knives UPWARDS. Buffalo ballet dancers flipped over unicycles on the walls, then shrank and turned into pies that fell sideways. Monkeys ate marshmallow balloons made of putty flowers which burped cows over rainbow towers of bubblegum. A filly's head exploded into confetti, and kazoos playing monkeys on a banjo sang a funeral dirge. SENSE?! OH, WHAT'S THE FUN IN MAKING SENSE?!Time Energy: 47% Clockwork hung down from his manacles, his thin body and tattered robe still in the pie encrusted menagerie as his hateful glare continued ignoring a draconequuis that may or may not have been still there. He must have finally snapped if he admitted it openly, but Clockwork knew the infernal creature was right, there was no making sense here. His powers were trickling thinner and thinner with each cosmic tick and before long he would have barely enough to function as himself, simply becoming a housing for whatever vile powers Discord would pour into him. That cannot come to pass, the Time Concept decided inwardly, I will burn at the heart of a supernova before I become a pawn of Discord. Ignoring the trickle of chocolate milk popping on the side of his face, Clockwork turned his attention to something he had not done in quite some time. Asking for aid. If the spawn of Father were out there, and knowing they were still infesting the world even in these abysmal conditions, he could bait one into helping him, or at least switch places. To Clockwork, the cell fell away into peaceful silence as he momentarily shut down his body, accomodating a greater capacity to search for an adequate host. Angry, and loyal to her own cause no doubt. She would side with neither of us in the pursuit of fiery vengeance... Disloyal, yet broken somewhat. I cannot be sure if I can trust one who cannot trust themself... Cruel, something hides underneath that shell, far too eager to please that vile being to be trusted... Greedy, easily baited, but not easily moved from the collection they amassed, no... Lies, paradoxically the most honest if one may read the words right, their mind is a maze I have no time to traverse... Tragedy, her mind is open, perhaps I could...strange, there are more layers to this one, each as thick as the last... He would have to choose one, he was sure that was Discord rapping on his outer hull to speak more nonsense about how he holds the world in his grip, the nerve. Collecting what energy he could spare, he plunged his aura at the closest one he could reach... " When you wish a liar to truth..." Clockwork thought as he pushed into the defenses of the target mind, urging for attention " ...a mask will serve a translator." (Clockwork is attempting to contact Liarjack at the cost of 10% Time Energy)

The Changeling Queen sighed, having toured every single street and greeted just about every single inhabitant of her realm since having woken up this morning. So... it is in the realm of Tiamat that the fate of the world shall be decided.
Was she ready? Of course not. Can anyone ever truly be ready for what may be the destruction of all she ever hoped for, the sacrifice of countless innocents, all for the faint hope of a better world? But she was willing to make that sacrifice. May her Children forgive her. None of them deserve suffering. Has not the world suffered enough already at the claws of the Enemy? Yet now it was for the good of the world that she herself will have to entrust her home, her precious Children, to the hooves of Fate.
Changeling guards quickly come and form ranks beside her as comfortingly familiar green flames form a circle about her for a short-range teleport to the meeting location. A sensation of falling through liquid earth later, the world shifted and reformed into the meeting location. She was pleased that Bane, at least, was already there.
"Good morning, old friend. I trust that your night was restful? Are you prepared for the trip ahead of us?"
Ah'd decided just ta totally not torch th' place an' bury th' evidence. Sure, Master, Ah'm 'takin' care o' th' problem, sure as sugar Ah am.
After that, Ah jes mosied straight back t' th' castle. 'Course Ah did. Ah definitely didn't stop by th' farm on th' way t' check up on mah... m-mah...
A-ah guess Ah shouldn't have been surprised. Li'l sis... wherever ya are... Ah... Ah totally ain't glad ya got ta have that experience 'fore ya left us.
Ah definitely put Pa's hat away 'fore Ah walked out again ta mah balcony, lookin' out at Sky Ocean. Ah totally didn't take it with me ta watch with me. Ah mean... well, call me superstitious, but Ah totally don't believe anythin' supernatural at all.
Ah love lies.
But y'all know what? For all th' things Master's done, one thing He's done that's totally, absolutely, positively not beautiful.
Sky Ocean.
Ah don't know if it was His sense o' irony, or jes' a part o' Him that was still actually Chaos instead of jes' sufferin', but Sky Ocean ain't no paradise, no siree, compared t' th' rest o' th' world. Pain, sufferin', disease, it's a livin' Tartarus, shore is, shore as sugar.
An' th' light shows them seaponies make, oh if y'all could see 'em. Them seaponies, after they're transformed, them's ain't got these glowin' bands along their sides, all th' colors o' th' rainbow.
There ain't hope, Ah remind mahself. Ain't no hope.
Then Ah sighed. There's hope. A thousand years, after all. Sooner or later, it'll all be over. Master would jes' disappear, Fate will make everything all right, Twilight might even turn into an alicorn princess and turn the whole wide world into a utopia, an' all those dead ponies will come back to life an' get ta live the lives they deserved.
Ah love lies.
Ah barely even noticed when Twi came by, askin' totally normal an' everyday questions. Ah guess it was the look on mah face.
But then...
A... voice in mah head?
No. Deceit.
Y'all got th' wrong pony, amigo. Go bother somepo- wait. Ah... Ah don't know ya. 'Cruel's... newest toy. Ain't ya?
I... the sleep did not help. It served only to inflame my curiosity and confusion further. I look at the mirror, wishing to find some clue as to the reason for my confusion. Aside from a slight growth in the purple patches on my eyes, and the irritating spark within the pupils, there is none.
Laughter. What in Chaos is so important about that word? A mere combination of diaphragm contractions associated with the release of hormones within a biological creature's cerebrum. It cannot possibly serve any useful purpose besides distraction from the Tragedy of life itself. Yet the word refuses to leave my mind.
I pause, listening for Master's bell. If there was a task that needed to be done in the next thirteen hours, it should have rung already. Then I remembered. Master was going on an "informative trip" with Fluttercruel today. Humiliating some fallen enemy of the Valeyard or another. Traitor Dash would be hiding in her room again, with another bout of depression. Angry Pie had her most recent "daughter" to practice with. Greedity was hugging her rocks. Liarjack... she usually took her nap around this time. Spike would be with Master, or more specifically, under Master.
Thirteen hours of no additional tasks, bar emergencies. I consider what I am about to do for a moment. To simply follow one's whim and fancy was unproductive and illogical. However, Master often insisted upon following illogical whims and fancies. Thus, Master would approve of following this illogical whim. In conclusion: following this illogical whim shall be in complete compliance with Master's wishes. I live to serve Master's wishes. Thus, I must follow this illogical whim.
Satisfied with this explanation, I exit my room, falling twenty stories into Master's Redundant Acid Pool. I swim to the side and wait for my body to regenerate, then move on. Ponythulhu comes out of his portal asking about Master. I tell him politely that Master will be out until later. The squid-like being returns to his portal. I move on.
I walk down the Hall of Shame, enduring the stony gaze of uncountable numbers of stone mares, each identical and with a pair of sunglasses as cutiemarks. I pass through the magma fountain at the end of the hall and wait for my body to regenerate. I move on. I pass by Fluttercruel's chambers. There is a new addition to her "quilt", a cutiemark of a poisonous apple. Why is there water exiting my eyes? I move on.
Some unknown number of eons later, I exit the Entrance Hall of Chaos, allowing my mind to regenerate. For some reason, I am drawn to the grey pegasus dragging herself along by her forelegs. She is trying to say something, but the crows pecking at her wings and back make too much noise. I freeze them and mass-teleport them into the Ponyville Volcano, ignoring the explosion a few moments later.
She gets up and starts walking. I stand in her way.
"Hello."
No response. She bumps into me, then tries to walk past. I hold her up with my telekinesis. Attention gained.
"STOP! STOP! HE SAID HE WOULDN'T CHEAT! DON'T HURT HER! DON'T HURT MY MUFFIN!"
"What is your name?"
She doesn't stop struggling uselessly. "LET ME GO! PLEASE LET ME GO! HE SAID HE WOULDN'T CHEAT! HE PROMISED! SEVEN QUADRILLION LAPS! PLEASE LET ME GO!"
This is going nowhere. I drop her on the ground.
"I froze the birds. What is your name?"
She immediately starts walking forward again, but says something softly. I use an amplification spell to hear.
"Her name is Dinky."
Query unanswered. Repeat query. "What is YOUR name?"
She keeps walking forward. I walk beside her, my frustration mounting. "Her name is Dinky, her sister's Sparkler..."
This is ridiculous. I sigh. "If you tell me your name, I'll refreeze the birds when they come back."
She paused her mumbling, but not her walking. Twilight Tragedy, reduced to making deals. Ego is an illogical emotion. I push it aside, and amplify her voice a little more. "...Ditzy Doo... or is it Derpy Hooves? Both? Neither?"
Illogical. "A pony cannot have two names."
She glanced at me. "What's your name?"
One thousand years and she asks that question? "...Twilight Tragedy."
She almost smiles. "Are you sure?"
I sigh. Why do ponies always ask that? Wait, how do I know that ponies always ask that? I can only remember the last forty-eight hours clearly at the moment. A question for later.
"Yes, I am certain." Why would she ask that question?
Her face fell slightly, and she looked down. "It... wasn't always."
Enough. Master forbids seeking out my own past. Time is wasting away. "I have to go. Excuse me."
"Bits been so long wince I balked with somepony."
I ignore her sudden lapse in speaking ability. "We can speak again when I am not busy. There is a matter I need to tend to."
I leave the mare to her laps, preparing my teleport to the Capitol of Chaos. It is time to satisfy this curiosity of mine, and enough time has been wasted on a whim. Master would approve.

Bane turns towards Cadence and gave one of his rare smiles at her. He bows his head in greetings with her. "Good morning my old friend. My sleep was fine. I couldn't ask for anything better. And I would believe that the others have slept well, some more than others." He pauses for a moment before speaking again. "When this is all over, I might introduce you to the Timekeepers, the Ancient Concepts of Time. It has been awhile since they had any sort of contact with any other Concept in this world. And as for the trip, I am ready to begin our meeting with Tiamat." His smile soon fades. "But there is a question, one of which you may have thought. Are you ready for this trip? Are you ready for what is about to happen? A journey that may change the fate of the world."

Time Energy: 46% Once more, Clockwork was forced to grit his his imaginary teeth alongside the newer notion of clamping down on the insults that were going to fly out of his mouth at the mere thought of being considered A PLAYTHIN...Ahem. Time for that later, he thought privately as he pushed deeper into the whirling mindset of sour lies and shadowed intentions. "Regrettably so, though I would much prefer you did not call me a 'toy' again..." Clockwork took a chance to glance around at the innards of Deciet's mind, noting whatever stepped out of the gloom to meet him "...you will better know me as Clockwork, and I, Ms Deceit, am very good at telling the truth. Such a truth is as follows, I am currently locked in a holding cell beneath your very position. Well, I say beneath, I mean approximately 30 feet down and 49 degrees westward, but I doubt directions matter..." Especially to one as clueless as you, Clockwork intoned, keeping that one under wraps until he could get part two of his plan in operation "I require little to aid in an escape attempt, merely an analogue device of which time is reliably kept and an individual to...loosen the door, shall we say?"

=== Garden of Lost Memories ===
Chrysteel takes Asterian into the garden and says, "You can set those there. Lunia? This is for one month. It is for both you and your soon to hatch children. Please do take care. I have matters of 'the tree' to tend to now. I will not be able to bring you more till I get back. It hurts me to leave you when your healing is only half done but 'It' calls for me to do so. I have to follow for now. But 'the tree' protects even from itself. Asterian look over the edge. You can see the tree from there."
When Asterian looks to the tree He sees that the seeds with the symbols of loyalty and laughter are glowing. there is a spark from both magic and kindness and generosity. Honesty has yet to even spark it remains silent to the others. As for magic there is both a light and dark aura around it. the tree itself looks to be as healthy as a newborn sapling.
Chrysteel lets Asterian have his look. She says, "Hhmmm...It seams you were right about having a form of connection to the tree. When last I checked it, only the seeds were glowing. Now there is symbols on them. ok, so the seeds with the symbols of Loyalty and Laughter are glowing. Sparks are igniting in magic, kindness and generosity." As she is saying this, Asterian's quill, which Chrysteel has turned into a quill mane clip, is glowing. its pulse matches not perfectly but close to perfectly with the sparks from generosity. She doesn't seam to notice this as the clip is behind her mane and out of sight. "If you found your answer Asterian, I think it is time to return to the meeting place for our trip to the dragon lands. I have everything I will need. I even have some items to barter with for gear and stuff. If not stay as long as you need. I am heading back to the meeting place."
Chrysteel waits for a few moments before returning to the castle.

While on the stroll to the tower, Shadechaser could feel Necroscale's start to fade. Merely muttering inward, Shade stated, "Worry about me and you might find more than just a cold feeling. I hope the dark has mercy on your soul." Only after walking for many steps did Shade realize that Necro was no longer near.
In an act of solitude, Necroscale started to chant something, though the words were impossible to make out. Sitting near the Ancient Willow, Necro could feel a cold surround his being. Soon, he couldn't feel anything. Shortly after, he couldn't see anything. Then, he was gone.
After fully realizing that Necro was truly gone, Shade continued to progress to the tower. "I didn't think he would be that lonesome. Leaving before a full two 'days' were up. It has only been a day as I feel." After a moment of silence for that event, Shade couldn't bother to speak. So many contained emotions, a single outburst couldn't even release half.

Asterian looked down to see the glow of the tree, observing as the energy from it pulses. "I know I can feel something..." He then looked back to Chrysteel ready to speak, only to be cut off as he noticed a glow from her head. The glow seemed to emanate from the barrette that she was wearing, but upon closer inspection, he noticed that the barrette was actually the quill he had given her. "Wait a minute... Your barrette is pulsing with the sparks from that one seed. The seed of Generosity, I suppose?
I can feel a pull in my heart to that one seed... like it is a part of me... It's almost like it was who I was meant to be." His voice shifted for the third time, but only now did he notice the change. "Chrysteel... Does this mean what I believe it means?"

=== continuing with Asterian. ===
((Does not change last post.)) Chrysteel removes the mane clip of a quill from her mane looking at it while saying, "What!? You mean the quill you gave me? The one that your family gave you from the day 'IT' happened?" Chrysteel then seams to realize something and nods saying, "If I am correct those seeds are the new elements of harmony created to preserve the balance of harmony and chaos. It is not glowing like the seeds of loyalty and laughter are but yes it could mean such. I also don't officially know what holds sway over laughter and loyalty though. I know for a fact that they are not here. For now I need to get to the meeting place. You can stay a bit longer if you wish but I have to go."

Asterian nods to Chrysteel, the purple spark once more apparent in his eyes as he follows her out of the garden and back to the castle. "Well... I do not know what to say after that truthfully... If I am a new Element..." He breathed heavily, trying to grasp what has transpired. "It sounds so absurd, but... it makes perfect sense... Who am I kidding? Hardly anything has made sense in my life; this is one of the few things that has made sense in a long time to me."
He continued walking alongside the changeling princess for whom he had another small query. "When you said that we were going to attain equipment... What sort of equipment is at our disposal? Any black powder weapons?"

Chrysteel looks to Asterian and says, "I do not intend to kill. If I can help it and for he love of life itself, I am hoping the chosen can save the 6 and reform the chaos lord. Yes despite all that he has done harmony can't exist without chaos and visa versa. The equipment is not just for me it is for all the chosen. I am here merely to guide and, at needed times, protect the chosen. This is my role within the prophecy. For me the prophecy has more to it. By helping the chosen I can, 'find out who thou truly are.', as the prophecy says it."

Laser picked up a fork and waggled it loosely from his hoof. "So, we're leaving soon, right? We can't stay here forever, of course." He leaned in close, whispering to nopony in particular. "If I know anything like I know Discord and his... ilk... things are only going to get worse. See, I've fought one of his brothers before. Had him stuck in my head for a while, too. Saw into his mind, and he saw into mine. I know how the draconequui think, and he probably knows we're here. I hope you're all ready." Schakolad rolled his eyes. "Is it so hard for you to relax and not frighten everypony before we leave? We are trying to have a morning meal."

Asterian snickered to himself, understanding what had happened. "I am sorry; I know that my question was a little misleading.
What I meant to tell you was that I know of a plant that grows in abundance in the Everfree. Night's Embrace, I think. Now, I know that black powder weapons were designed to be lethal, but I have other ideas for it, such as using the gun to launch, say, a net, a dart, anything that we could need.
The plant I am talking about grows in complete abundance in the Everfree near my home, and I usually place traps with the tips of spears dripping with the plant's extract. It can knock out an enraged manticore within a minute, so anypony hit by one of the darts I am talking about, well... I think you have the idea."

Chrysteel says, "Well a knockout plant. Only here in the Everfree does discord's chaos powers not function very well. The forest has ways of protecting and preserving itself. We, the children of Avalon, have also adopted a similar way of survival. I will let mother and the dragon high ones explain that but we need to get back. I will also be talking with bane and mother if she is there about an item I have. As for that you will just have to wait and see." Chrysteel heads off to the meeting place.
=== at the meeting place === Chrysteel walks in and see Cadence there. She says to her mother Cadence, "Morning mother. I hope your walk was uneventful. I am ready when everypony else is. How was your rest, mother? Also Mother, can you have a look at this, mother? It is the bow I always kept with me. Bane here says that one needs both Alicorn knowledge and Ancient knowledge to decipher it. He said that it will best be left unused until then. I have asked about it before but I think this time, it will come to help the chosen to fully analyze what this ancient bow is able to do. Will you, mother? By the Way, has anypony seen Rendia?" Chrysteel shows the bow to Cadence.
((For the rest of the bow's abilities Magus, you can decide what they are and what is needed to unlock them. This includes both the Concept's/Alicorn's side and the Ancient's side. Also Rendia is still with North Wind until we know if he has left the RP or not.))

After the seemingly short walk, Shadechaser, finally, saw the entrance of the tower that seemed important. When attempting to looking inside, Shade noticed a familiar presence, or two. Shade muttered, "If I am not mistaken, I might have felt a presence like this before, but when... and where?" After a bit of hesitation, Shade moved closer to the entrance, though still trying to stay out of sight until it was inevitable. Shortly before coming out of hiding, Shade noticed that there was one more familiar presence in the area. How is it possible that there is three familiar entities in a world completely unknown to me. Unless, the personalities of the beings I met are very similar. Only thing that can prove this is a confrontation, or a mere conversation.

Cadance sighed, looking out a window at the peaceful denizens of Avalon. "I try to tell myself that I am, but... I do not think anyone can ever truly be ready, not completely in mind and heart and soul. How can one be ready for such suffering? But I have readied myself as best as I can, and that is all I would ask of anyone. I do not fear for myself, I fear for My Little Ponies, My Children, these innocents who hold onto hope in this pocket of sanity, of peace and joy. I fear for the foals, the chicks, the cubs, the fawns, the pups, the kids. They never asked to be born into this world, but they were, and that is the lot that Fate has given to them. I cannot imagine why My Sister has drawn this particular road, nor where it may lead in the end, except unto the Elders, for all roads lead to the Elders in the End. Yet who knows? I still hold onto hope. That is why we fight, why we continue onwards, why we are resolved to go to Tiamat today. Because of hope. A fool's hope, perhaps, but if there is any way to end this endless suffering, it will be through you, my friend. Through all of you, the Chosen."
She smiled as Chrysteel entered, then almost choked as She saw the bow in the changeling's hoof.
"The... the Bow of Cupid... the gift from Venus, unto Her most beloved son... I... I had thought that I would never see it again..."
She touched it reverently, remembering that which none now comprehended, that which never existed, which never would exist again. She looked to the changeling before her, wondering. How long, Father, Mother? How long must I wait? It is lonely, so lonely, knowing all yet unable to act or speak. But now, at last...
She gestured and beckoned for the rest to eat. "Keep it secret, and keep it safe, My Child. This is of a Power only you will know, and you are as yet unready to know the reason for it, or its true powers. But I feel it in My heart, that soon you shall remember a power greater than anything you have ever imagined in this life, and you will open your eyes, and see things as they truly are, without limit."
She looked gravely at everypony. "The pieces are moving, the board is set, the clock is ticking. We make for the Dragon Lands, for the Realm of Tiamat and Bahamut, My Cousins. I will not ask of you all what you cannot give. Let they who cannot continue stay here in relative safety, and let those who are willing step forward when ready."
Liarjack raised an eyebrow. 'Ya know that Ah can't smell a trap or deception from any distance, no matter how well hidden or complex, right? Ah can't sense any hidden motive, see through any mask. Mah curse an' mah blessin'. Gimme a good reason fer lettin' ya out. Last Ah heard, ye was tryin' fer takin' over th' world an' rippin' it an' its timeline ta pieces, Ah ain't a genius, genius. Now Ah might prefer Master's li'l setup ta yours, but Ah ain't fond o' stayin' alive, if ya get mah meanin'. An' Ah'm privy ta gettin' mahself possessed too. Ah ain't seen Fluttercruel do it all too many times. So, tell me why.
She was an enigma, an impenetrable mystery, a web of lies within a web of lies. She was, for all intents and purposes, the very concept of lying, even though the ex-Alicorn hadn't remembered having a Sister to represent that, and this little immortal mortal here wasn't any sort of goddess. But it was the best chance He had, for now, to escape this unending prison, this place that was threatening to break Him utterly and mold Him into exactly what that insane creature had called Him, a submissive and mindless little plaything for a mad god and His daughter.
