Bane seems to enjoy the mist coming from Asha. He looked up at her. "Hey Asha, how does flying feel like for you? Because it seems like you are enjoying it."

Asha says, "I did tell you I was a Prodigal Flier in my younger years, Before my wing incident, didn't I? It feels the same as back then. I feel as if I never lost my wings." Asha finishes her drink and does a few loop-ti-loos to finish off her stunt flying for a while. She then flies close to Bane and says, "Please don't tell the others about it. Most of them do not know about my parents."

"You know I won't to such a thing. I promised, remember? I did that weird promise thing you told me to do." Bane looks at Asha's wings and has a recall on past adventures. "The reason why I asked you on flying is because I had a slight problem with flying before and now I'm just either afraid of flying or I hate flying. I can tell you what happened but it's a long story."

Asha looks to Bane and says, "You have wings or you were on one who could fly?" Asha is still flying but is now low to the ground normal sight range compared to everypony and everyone else.

"Not someone but something. On one of my previous adventures, I was on an enemy airship after it attacked a large town I was in. When I came onto it, my whole body rocked as if I was on a regular ship. And considering the size of that ship, it was hard to keep myself steady the entire time. I almost threw up while fighting. The size of the ship was much bigger than a Man O' War. I, luckily, wasn't the only person who tried to stop the enemy from destroying the town. There were a few others that boarded the ship along with me, a few in different locations of the ship. Once we boarded, we fought our way to the bridge but it was too late. The enemy had already abandoned ship, leaving the ship heading straight into a mountain. None of us knew how to fly the airship but we tried to steer it out of the way. We were able to, but we couldn't slow down the speed of it, due to the issue that the engines were destroyed during the whole battle. We ended up crash landing the ship into the forest, and that wasn't the greatest flight experience ever, especially for a first-time flyer like me." Bane pauses for a bit before speaking. "There is more to this story if you wish to hear, but it may either confuse you or clarify your confused mind."

Asha says, "Naw I prefer my own wings to those big things anyday. I have seen a few get brought out of the sky because of a few randomly misplaced shots. Not many survived. To be honest with you it has been a while sense I have even seen an air ship." Asha heads up for a few moments to look around and see if there was trouble ahead.

Nellie stopped her rant, then smiled tiredly at Fides. "It's fine. Thank you, sir. It's just something that's been on my mind lately; I guess you could say it was... a sort of frustration over how things have gotten, over the centuries."
She thought a moment, then shook her head. "Not that there's only been bad things, mind you! I mean, of course, Thalassana is quite impressive, and it's wonderful to see so many nations and peoples and ponies coming together to help one another and stand against the forces of chaos. But still... it's just too bad that so much needed to happen to bring us together. If the whole world had just banded together in friendship and harmony from the start, maybe we wouldn't even have had a Plague, who knows?"
The mare sighed, then blushed, looking at the stallion trotting alongside her. "But enough complaining from me; I don't suppose it's altogether too interesting. You said that you two are knights? What's life like, in Thalassana? I mean, besides the obvious."

Fides smiled. "I am not a knight just yet... but Thalassana is a fine place to live. The crime rates are low, the local farms seem to be doing well enough that food isn't scarce... but for a knight, it can be rather--" he trailed off. Now it was Fides' turn to blush; he was about to say 'lonely', but he ought to be ashamed of himself for thinking like that at this age. He quickly switched topics. "...exciting! Just this past week, Silentium has been taking part in a jousting tournament. I don't get to participate in those just yet, though." He glanced around at the rest of the party. "Did you know anyone here before last night?"

Asha lands next to the pair and says, "well, she did know me from the city. My parent's deaths did cause quite the uproar. But I think you two need to be more open about things. I noticed from my bird's eye view you two seamed to have blushed a bit before this topic came up." Asha seams to be trying to lighten the mood by teasing them a bit. She knows she is treading on soft grounds but their reactions will probably get a laugh or two out of some of the others.

Bane looks at his sword. "This will be a long walk for sure." The sword hums in response. "I don't know, it seems a bit boring for me at the moment, which usually doesn't happen to me that often. Then again, when I walk from one town to the next, I usually end up fighting some bandits or monsters. But this is a foreign land to me and I don't know if the same thing will happen here, especially on this road." The sword hums. "Yes, I guess I would have to agree with you."

Nellie grinned. "Well, like Asha said, I knew her. And also Paragonis; we worked together quite a few times before, back when he lived in the City itself a few centuries ago. I heard stories from him about Bingo, but I'm pretty sure this is my first time actually meeting him face-to-face."
They arrived on the Great Road, a well-paved highway running along the shores of the Sea towards Orod Khazad. Seagulls could be seen circling high above or calling to each other as the sound of waves came to their ears from far away.

Asha chuckles and says, "Do you think We will encounter the usual ones on the main road today, Lord Paragonis and Nellie?"

Bingo nodded. "Yes, I don't believe I've had the pleasure of meeting you before last night," he confirmed. The new environment seemed to be keeping the halfling's spirits high enough for conversation.
Fides smiled. "Plenty of new friends to be made, then," he said to Nellie, dodging confrontation with Asha's mention of their awkward moment. He stomped the ground approvingly. "Ah, this is certainly a better road!" Fides took a deep breath of the fresh sea breeze. This was a rare treat for him. Silentium remained quiet, but he continued to survey the landscape through his lifted helmet visor.

Paragonis looked over at Asha from atop the other mare. "Possibly. Perhaps not. Hopefully, we will simply join some sort of caravan soon, and make the rest of the trip to Orod Khazad without delay or danger. I still can scarcely believe this place was a war-zone only a hundred years ago, and a battleground even more recently. How things have changed!"
Nellie smiled, looking around. "The dwarves certainly helped with repairing the foundations of the road. No offense, but I don't think the masons of Thalassana could craft fifty miles of seamless smooth stone the way a team of five dwarves can in a month."

Asha nods. She says, "To be honest with you. I encountered a few goblin scouting parties not to far from here. I am surprised they even tried to fight. They should have known not to mess with me while I was in that state." Asha looks to Bane when she speaks knowing he would know what she had referred too.
