Looks like we're flashing back a ways. I'm holding onto some progress for my character that was irrelevant to the other characters in the RP.

Magus, could I implore you to make the Empire sound more...inviting? What you put originally is great but I think it frightened a few players onto opposing teams. If Clockwork ran an Empire that big I could see him already having a head start over the other races in a rather backwards way, but the lack of research would not be because of a lack of beings sentient enough to conduct it, rather that the Empire is on a near constant march from its homeworld in Ares 1. Besides, all of his soldiers weaponry is deadly enough as is, why fix what isn't broken? The Empire can make alliances based on who would serve it better, rather than hate everyone and everything. I'm currently working on five generals who serve under Clockwork so Marks 1-5 are split evenly, with Mark 6's being the generals themselves and the Mark 7 remaining an experimental weapon. This should allow some freedom based on alliances. In standard Mark 1 troops thd souls are diluted so much they may only carry out orders, but in Mark 2's onwards the souls are more and more potent, offering higher independency from their lower kin. I will post Generals and their specialities soon enough. Just something for your consideration. ^^

so its goals have shifted from "conquer the universe" to "enlighten the universe to the mechanoid ideal"? first time around you expressed extreme disdain for organics. If you can give me specific parts to adjust/update, I'll do it immediately :3
same applies to anyone else who wants their faction changed slightly.

so its goals have shifted from "conquer the universe" to "enlighten the universe to the mechanoid ideal"? first time around you expressed extreme disdain for organics. If you can give me specific parts to adjust/update, I'll do it immediately :3 same applies to anyone else who wants their faction changed slightly. A rising militaristic group of Cyborg and Truesteel mechanoids dedicated to the assimilation of all organic life into the Empire. The Empire has taken over two star systems: Ares 1 and Ares 2. This faction is ruled harshly but fairly by the Clockwork King and his council. Free will exists within the Empire, but only in the upper echelons of the class system. The Empire places an emphasis on mechanical efficiency and expansionism by any means necessary. The planets of Ares 2 are mining worlds thick with natural and precious minerals, as well as serving as the domain of thousands of industrial cities and starports for universal trade, whereas the planets of Ares 1 serve as the lynchpin for the Clockwork Armada and the training of ground forces, as well as the location of Clockwork's palace upon the planet Gerhart. This faction will seek to overtake planets politically or with intimidation, though if the aforementioned methods are found lacking the Empire is not afraid to strike with maximum force available. Survivors are set apart into the useful and the 'defunct', and are punished to mining work or conversion respectively. The Empire's general aesthetic is Machine. How's that? Also, perhaps a quick refresh of all players across each RP?

Oops, sorry! I'll try to get you in next post! Meanwhile, however, I must abscond. This GM business has taken too much time away from me... I must do math homework.

It's ok. Just don't forget about me or Buckeye will end up waiting for an eternity to get permission.
