Frost hands to Octavia the note and says, "Look to your history. that is part of what fluttershy said in the note there." Frost looks over the books Asterian was giving to her and Aldorn.

The musician frowned. "But that does not answer the question of what exactly is in these history books that would not already be in, say, the history section of the Fancy Library."

Frost says, "One has to look to find out. We don't know she only gave us clues. It is up to us to find what the clues pertain to. This is a history book. Who knows what is in the book until one looks? That is the problem, we don't know till we have a look. As I said, I was going to have a look at the books in the library after this one. Then I was going to compare and see what's in this one and what we would find in the others." Frost continues to look through the book trying to determine the books contents and if it holds anything of value to the listed notes. She even checks to see who the book it written by.

The book was written in a very ancient script, older than even the Crystal Glyphs used in the mythical Empire that the stories say once existed in the far distant North. The pages were made not of normal paper, but papyrus, and the covers were thin pieces of carved wood inlay with jewels and precious metals. Powerful spells of preservation were laid upon the collection, powerful yet subtle, of a skill far surpassing that of even the most learned unicorns today.
Upon the spine was a strange symbol - an elderly stallion with a long horn; upon his head a wide-brimmed hat hung with bells, and upon his chin a beard that swirled about him in a circle. Three stars and a moon in the triangle within the circle, a symbol old and arcane.
The title of the collection was archaic, befitting the overall theme: Libris Tres Gentium. Scriptorum Astraroti. It translated, roughly, to "The History of the Three Tribes, the writings of Starswirl".

frost being that her town was missing for 1000 years new the language but not its primary purpose. She says reading the cover, "The History of the Three Tribes, the writings of Starswirl. I know the language of this book. Wow I thought I would never see this language used ever again. My grand parents knew Starswirl. It is a long tale, as to how I know. but the short version is, my home Talos was misplaced in time by over 1000 years. Shortly after the time of Starswirl. This book however looks old but well preserved. As for how I know the language itself, my father was a unicorn from that age. He was a foal during Starswirl's time. My father taught me the language." frost's interest in the book became that of a school filly with the newest Daring Doo story. she sets herself down and starts to read the book, finally able to use her home language again.

Aldorn looks at the book and its language of the words. "The language seems familiar to me, but I cannot seem to understand most of it. Long ago, one of the villagers used that language but barely anypony, but her, could read it." Aldorn looks at Frost and sees how dedicated she is into the book. "You seem to enjoy this. Do you want to move some other comfortable location or is this fine for you?"

frost looks up from her book and says, "A place with a soft cushion and plenty to drink, preferably with something very cold, would be great. I am highly attuned to the cold." She looks to Asterian and Octavia and says, "You wouldn't know of such a place would ya? What's in this book dates back to before the time of heart's warming eve. Does that answer your question, Miss Octavia. As I said, we wouldn't know until we looked." Aurora reads her book while listening for their responses.

The musician looked at Asterian and sighed. "I suppose so, Miss Frost. As for somewhere to sit and drink..."
She looked disinclined to invite the Outsiders to her private chateau, so she left the decision to Asterian.

(( I must apologize for my absence. Several personal tragedies have occurred recently. ))
Asterian looked at Octavia, then smiled. "I see no reason why we can not retire to my home. There's plenty cold to drink there; I daresay there is something for everypony to enjoy." He discreetly wrapped his own tail around Octavia's and smirked. "Shall we, ladies and gentlecolts?"

((Don't you mean gentlecults?))
Frost nods and positions herself to follow Asterian. She says, "To be honest with you lord Asterian, I do not trust you as far as I can through you. But for now we can let it slide. We have the book. It also seams to be the one with the most clues for us. I think I will enjoy reading it......." The next few words she says are lost in translation, as it is in the language the book it written in.

(( ... When I say 'personal tragedies', I mean death of a friend by his own hands. I am really not in the best of moods, so forgive me if I miss on ponifying a word or two.))
Asterian waved a hoof casually at Frost. "Please, you need not address me by title. I find it to be rather... Well, to be honest, I find that it makes me feel like I am on a high-status hierarchy. I never did enjoy it. Please, call me Asterian." With that, he raised his hood and looked to Octavia. "Shall we move along?"

Octavia sighed internally, but kept up a polite smile and nodded elegantly to the Outsiders.
"Indeed, let's."
She walked close to Asterian for a while, then spoke quietly. "Do you really think they are trustworthy? There have been others who claimed similar things before."

Asterian looked to Octavia and chuckled. He lowered his voice, and, making sure they were not looking, he moved his wrist back slowly, driving the mechanism in his bladed bracer to reveal his hidden weapon. "I trust them enough, but in case not..." He slipped his wrist back, hiding the blade securely in the bracer as he continued to walk forward with his lovely marefriend.

Frost hovered elegantly along with them not paying attention to their conversation. she held the book before her smiling. She thought to herself, "Should I leave this book with markers behind, to indicate the clues we find? Yea, I should. Just incase somepony else tries what we are going to try."
