Chrysteel says receiving the box, "We will make sure of this as well. I, for one, know not all things out there are necessarily dark. Moonlight, mother awaits you. If you wish to know who you truly are then follow or if you wish for mother to best understand you stay there. Rendia should be back soon, as well, with the last of the others.
Lets see the hearts I sense that need to gather are yours, Bane, the child of shadow(Oblivion) Shadechaser, the dragon Necroscale, Rendia My attendant, Asterian, Moonlight the discord twisted, Schakolad, Laserbolt (That heart seams familiar to me but I can't place why. Even the name is familiar.), Selashi a very helpful being to say the least and finally myself. Once all of these hearts have been gathered we can begin fulfilling the prophecy. All the keys are gathering. I am glad it is happening now. I will make sure mother gets this box and keeps it safe till we can get to Lady Tiamat. Mother can answer your questions when we get to her.
If it is this city your heart asks about, It was formed about 1000 years ago by our mother and queen Cadence. She is known to all who know of her as the concept of temperance. The harmonic energy you feel all around you is her doing. She, myself plus others power a very select number of harmonic wards that keep this place out of discord's senses. Chaos versus Harmony, if you will. As for Avalon itself, we think of her as a sanctuary to those who wished not to be disturbed by discord's reign of chaos."
Chrysteel continues to guide them threw the city. She seams excited that the chosen are finally gathering.

Rendia looks to North Wind before Chuckling, "Ah, the Everfree Lunar Lily vines are going to bloom tonight. You just crossed their path. Right this way, we are to go to the castle. Asterian, are you really ok to be walking in your condition? The lady, Chrysteel, would be upset with me if you got hurt." Rendia hands Asterian one of the fruits from the forest. "Here eat this. It should help you." She then guides her group towards Avalon castle. "Come, mother awaits us in Avalon Castle."
((Poison Joke can't survive near or inside of Avalon, North Wind.))

Asterian looked to Rendia, feeling weaker by the minute in body, yet his mind felt freed. The magic of the land coursed through his veins like wave after wave of liberation from fear and dissension. He stopped and looked at the fruit, his mouth already watering from its aroma. "Th-thank you, milady..." Starfall reached out a hoof and kindly took it, taking a small bite from it. Starfall had never tasted anything of this sort before; it was sweet, but with a little texture and crispness to it. He nodded at Rendia, "You're probably right..." He heaved a sigh, "I can barely stand..." Truly, his legs shook where he stood, and it looked as though he was nearing collapse again. What little energy the carrot had given him was fading. Asterian's hind legs gave way as he tried to fruitlessly fight his fatigue.
(( As for the First Rule, I contest that not enough is happening for me to really post ten sentences without sounding like I'm dragging things out. It would be like writing ten sentences where two adequately describes the situation; it just sounds dull. ))

Bane looks at the city. "Then the city is not that old as I thought it would be. How unfortunate, but the magic, similar to one of the powers belonging to the Makers, the First Gods that were born before Time. Similar, but differences. I don't sense the Maker's presence or her power. Sad, well for those who have met her. Oh well, I will worry about that later. It is time to meet your mother." Bane follows Chrysteel.

Rendia Helps Asterian back to his feet. She brings him over to a bench and lets him rest there. Rendia says to the ones with her. "Lets rest here. I would like for all of us to be able to move freely before we get to Avalon castle. Asterian Here is two more fruits. I understand you are fatigued and want to sleep. We will have a bed ready for you back at the castle. I would also like it if you visited once rested our castle infirmary just to make sure you are able to survive all of what is to come." Rendia hands him two more fruits and lets him rest some of his fatigue away.
===Somewhere near the Castle=== Chrysteel Points and says, "There she is, Avalon Castle. This is where I live with mother. She will be waiting inside. I would like for you all to head in. It seams I have matters that need tending to. Moonlight I know it is currently hard for you to be here in your current state but please bare with me and endure. It will be worth the effort for doing so."
{in the hive mind} "Mother, I found all the hearts I could sense. But one needs my aid now and one of the others will take time. Asterian is in dire need of aid for his fatigue and rest when he arrives. If able I will tend to him personally. I have done all I can for moonlight but it seams she will need your help in order to be truly free of discord's corruption. I will tend to Asterian and then bring Rendia's group to the castle." Chrysteel looks to the group and says, " I will be back in a bit. I am going to help my attendant with some of our other guests. Please make yourselves at home." Chrysteel then heads off to meet with Rendia's group. ===Near Rendia in Avalon Park.=== Rendia looks to her group and says, " Lady Chrysteel is on her way here right now. We will see to Asterian first. Then we can continue on our way to Avalon Castle."

Asterian looked curiously at Rendia, unsure of how to react to what emotion was being shown to him. Was this... compassion? Sympathy? Empathy? Perhaps it was all three, but Starfall barely understood such emotions. A world filled with hate and dissension, coupled with his past, forced him to disregard any such thing as happiness, and yet the land here seemed... joyful. Just the feeling of finding a place away from His rule gave him peace of mind -- something he had not attained in years. The unicorn continued to look to Rendia, "Thank you once more... I am sorry to be a burden to you... but what do you mean by 'what is to come'?"

Rendia looks to Asterian thoughtfully and says, "The lady told me, one day heroes from outside of Avalon will gather and the chaos lord will fall. She told me that she would be able to sense the hearts of the chosen heroes. For me, it was a surprise this morning when she said she had errands to run outside Avalon. these errands did not include her usual activities. Mother will be able to explain more about it. But I think myself and lady Chrysteel are also two of these chosen heroes. According to legend the chosen heroes will once again restore harmony to Equestria." Rendia tries to treat more of Asterian's physical injuries so they don't become a true burden to him. "And if you are wondering, yes I am showing you compassion. I sensed the question from your heart. We changelings can sense what lies in ones heart. but don't worry we do not intrude where we should not. Any secrets you have are still safe."

Bane enters into Avalon Castle. While wondering the inside structure, he takes note of the magical aura within Avalon. He stops for a moment and thinks of his current situation. Why now of all things? Why am I chosen with these others to take go against Discord? I agree that he must be put down, but wouldn't it have been easier to have gone against him earlier than right now where is power is at its strongest, where Chaos has taken control over most of the world. Bane ponders on this question until moving on to meet with the Queen of Avalon, the one who may provide the answers.

Laserbolt and Schakolad approach the city at the same time, although separately. Laserbolt looked upon it, and another flash came through, a tree, another him, and a queen. He shook out of it, and walked through the gate. Schakolad followed close behind. Noticing this, Laserbolt turned to him. "Hey." Schakolad nodded, silently. "You...uh... here because of the voice?" Another nod. "Oooookay. Nice to meetcha. Name's Laserbolt, and you?" "Schakolad." He walked past Laserbolt, leaving the unicorn confused, and a bit offended. But now wasn't the time to be like that. He walked behind the giant stallion, and walked toward the gates, through the castle, and into the courtroom of the Queen, with the rest.

Chrysteel arrives in Avalon park right where Asterian Rendia and North Wind are and says, "Welcome to our home Avalon, the hidden city. I know that you all must be tired and rest you shall have after mother has meet with you and informed you as to why it is now you come here. My name is Chrysteel Amor Chrysalis, Princess of Avalon. Let this Gift ease your troubles, Asterian." While Casting a spell Chrysteel hands Asterian a box. if he chooses to open it then the spell Mother's Gift affects him. She then looks to North Wind and back to Asterian and says, "Come follow me. Mother is waiting at the castle. It is there our destiny begins in full." Chrysteel and Rendia guide Asterian and North Wind threw Avalon towards the castle's dinning hall/audience chamber. Chrysteel looks to all who have gathered and says to them all with her arrival, "Welcome to Avalon everypony. I am Princess Chrysteel of Avalon. Mother will now see you all."
===Through the Hive mind=== "Mother, the chosen ones of prophecy, that I could find, are all here now. We await your arrival." says Chrysteel through the hive mind to Queen Cadence.

Asterian turned to Chrysteel with a puzzled look as she gave him the box. He eyed it in particular cautiously, as if expecting something to happen should he try to touch it. Before long, however, curiosity consumes him more so than fear and dread, and he takes the box, depositing it in the ragged sack he called a saddlebag.
Asterian followed Chrysteel through the winding streets as well as he could. Many questions ran through his mind. How did they know my name? What did the pink one mean by "our" destiny? All these and much more flew by as a more urgent thought passed. The box. He withdrew it from his sack and hastily opened it.

Laserbolt grinned. Finally, a chance to prove himself! All those years of training would finally pay off, poring over Starswirl's notes, lessons from Luna, it all came to this. This was the apex of his life. That it was in another world, separate from his, didn't matter. He would bring back proof if he had to, but he would be known as a hero. Schakolad cast a glance to the Queen, waiting for her speech. Vengeance was at hoof, and he'd finally be able to rescue her. This was what it all came down to. The beacon of the Queen's aura would lead them to her.

The Queen of Avalon smiled and quietly withdrew herself to allow Shadechaser and Necroscale some privacy for conversing among themselves. Green flames surrounded her briefly as she vanished...
-----
Bane, Chrysteel, Rendia, Laserbolt, Schakolad, Asterian, North Wind and Moonlight all felt Her presence as She approached, and without even seeing they knew Who She was.
Bane felt once more the True Magic, the Magic of the Divine. Perhaps there was more to this place than even Chrysteel, who called herself a "princess" here, knew. And as soon as he saw Her, thought became certainty.
Chrysteel felt the comfort and Love of a Mother, the endless wisdom of a Teacher, the fellowship of a Friend. The Queen of Avalon, Who had taught her so much, and taken her in even in these troublesome times, treating her like family. What more could one ask for?
Rendia felt the warm, renewing power of Harmony, which satisfied all her needs as a changeling and then some, overflowing with power and majesty, a wise and benevolent Queen and Mother Who knew the name of each and every one of Her precious Children, Who was Loyal, and Honest, and Kind, and Generous, and Friendly and full of Hope in the face of chaos.
Laserbolt immediately realized this was very, very, very, VERY definitely not the Cadance he knew. For one, She looked like She was partially Changeling. For another, She was... how could he describe it... OLDER, but not in the sense of a crotchety old crone or anything. She didn't have wrinkles or anything like Granny Smith. It was... something in Her eyes, something that told him that this alicorn was... familiar... Because he had seen this scene before... he remembered... fire raining from the sky... Everfree burning as Sonic Darkbooms flattened the plains... and the memory was gone, but the feeling of deja-vu remained.
Schakolad recognized power and authority when he saw it. More than that, he recognized that sometimes, it was wiser to acknowledge that there were some things that no amount of brute force was going to solve, and when he needed help to do what he intended to do. This was one such case. He wasn't going to storm the Chaos Castle by himself, but hopefully, with the help of the One standing before him... he would see.
Asterian heard the soft sound of angelic wings fluttering, and felt the presence of the source of all this peace and harmony nearby as well. There was nothing to be afraid of in this Hidden Land. No taint, no evil lies upon it, save that which others may try to bring in. And if they try, may they be terrified! But for those who embrace its harmony, it is a refuge.
North Wind realized this was the very Being that all the legends had spoken of as he came here on his long journeys. Older time, older than the seasons, stronger than Winter, yet gentle as a snowflake...
Moonlight made no response besides the slightest of twitches.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING STILL JUST STANDING THERE, MY LITTLE PONY?!
Think, Moonlight.
Shut up...
GET YOUR FLANK OUT OF THERE, YOU IDIOT! YOU DON'T BELONG HERE! YOU KNOW THIS MORE THAN ANYONE!
Shut UP...
Please, Moonlight. This is your choice.
DON'T LISTEN TO HER!
shut up shut UP SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!!
Moonlight took a half-step backwards, then stopped, face twitching between various emotions before becoming emotionless again.
I'm not going to listen to EITHER of you. I won't listen to two voices in my head. I'm DONE listening. I'm... I'm...
the... t-the voices were gone...
Before them stood a tall female alicorn, with a pink coat and shimmering rainbow mane, and eyes that spoke of memories older than Time.
Welcome to Avalon, Destined Ones. Welcome, Bane of the Ancients. It has been too long since We have conversed, the Firstborn and the Makers. Do not worry. All shall be explained in time. Welcome home, Princess Chrysteel, beloved Child and Daughter. I am glad to see you back safe and sound. Welcome home, faithful Rendia, My Child. You have performed above and beyond the call of duty and faced the wrath of one more powerful than almost anything else you are likely to face with dignity and bravery. Welcome, Laserbolt. We meet again, and We meet for the first time. Fate turns unpredictably, and predictably, as She often does. Welcome, Schakolad. You will find what you seek, though perhaps not in the manner you expect. Welcome, Asterian. For too long have you been without hope, but now you shall once more find comfort and peace, and perhaps help the entire world to feel that peace you longed for all these years. Do not be discouraged by the things of the past you were made to endure. You may find that forgiveness is not so difficult as it feels at the moment. Welcome, North Wind, Prince of the lost kingdom. You shall prevail in your quest, though not in the way you expect.
She turned Her ageless eyes upon Moonlight, the last of the group. The pitifully Chaos-Twisted creature, that might have been just about anyone or anything before Discord made her His plaything, looked back at the Alicorn with empty eyes devoid of emotion.
You are welcome here, Moonlight, said the Queen quietly. I will not force any to seek out comfort or salvation. But know that you are free here. Not a slave, nor a prisoner. If you should seek freedom and comfort, simply ask, and you shall receive.
She turned to the group.
Here within the Hidden Land of Avalon may you find peace and rest, and the advice and help that you each seek, knowingly or not. May this be a refuge for you, and a home to you, for the time you are with us, and whenever you choose to return. I will not command of you anything, save to be courteous and respectful, not resorting to violence unless in self-defense, and then only in the most drastic of situations. But the world needs your help.

Laserbolt's horn flickered unconsciously, as if performing magicks unknown to its controller. The images in his head were banished again, leaving him with an idea, but without any real information. "Queen Cadence, it's good to be back, even if... you know... I have no clue what's goin' on, to be honest."
Schakolad simply nodded to the Queen. He'd heard of the City of Avalon, but he had never thought he'd be there. He sincerely hoped that this would be the end-all. The ponies gathered in the room seemed like good choices, except for the girl. He had the idea that perhaps she wouldn't last, what with Discord's influence over her. Of course, he wasn't one to talk. The only reason he wasn't still chained up in that castle was because of her.

Asterian could have sworn that the Queen was reading his mind as she spoke to him. It was as if she instantly knew what was wrong with him and what ailed his heart.
Limping slightly, he took a step forward and shakily bowed before the Queen. "It is an honor to meet you..." It took some effort, but the young stallion pulled himself back up and straightened his stance to better support his exhausted figure. As much as the fruit had helped, he was still starving and fatigued, but the last thing he wanted to do was burden royalty. He stayed silent to his pains, somehow knowing that the questions he held in his mind would be answered.
