Bane looks at the Queen of Avalon and smiled. "It has been too long Cadence, and my have you grown." He looks at her, then observed the True Magic with his own lingering magic. "Oh and I'm of the Second, not of First. The First would be both our ancestors since my race no longer exists. But you are right for the Makers, we worship them as you do with your own gods and goddesses. And yes, you will have some explaining to do, old friend." Bane smiles and bows his head quickly in a way to greet a friend. "Now then, if we have time, I would like to discuss something of our situation, which has appeared rather untimely. Then, there is the security of the technology I have brought with me for safekeeping. I trust you would not open it, for no pony has been selected to handle it with care, and power such as those can bring in the seeds of chaos and corruption, even in a place of solace."

Chrysteel Nods to Bane, "We will not open it but it will be safe none the less. As to that I think I could explain a part of it. It was part of my vision after all that this would happen. A long time ago the world as we know it now was much different. Then chaos came and changed everything. This part I think we all know. The Fall of Harmony, as it were called. But Hope is never truly lost unless you give up on it completely. About 800 years ago when Avalon was still a young hidden land. I and several others had strange visions of something. That something spoke of a prophecy. The prophecy goes as follows: 'When the tree glows like the sun. The Chosen will gather in the hidden land to bring harmony once again to the lost. They will face the 6 trials of chaos and in the end the chosen shall bring the reign of the chaos lord to an end.' As to whom the chosen are the prophecy also said: 'The one whose heart is of love and creation shall sense the hearts of the chosen and seek out the ones to whom those hearts belong.' This part has already come to pass and I was the one to seek the hearts of the chosen and bring them together as I have. The rest is still uncertain to me. But in time we can figure it out. As to the first part It too has already happened. Just the other day, I visited a sacred place here in Avalon and one of the trees there were glowing like the sun. This marked the beginning for what I would like to call 'The Return of Harmony'." Chrysteel looks to cadence and says, "Mother, I think the rest you can explain. You understood the prophecy better then even us, the ones who spoke it."

Shadechaser looked at Necroscale, and Necroscale did the same. A moment past after 'She' left, then Shade stated, "If we know this land, and if we see through the power, then we can counter the small things. If we cannot fight the powerful alone, then we find recruits."
Necroscale responded, "I think we need to find a spot to talk. A place that is familiar to you and me."
Shadechaser looked to the direction of the mountain. "If you are speaking of the cave, then I know where we will go. If you didn't mean that, then we will go where ever you desire us to go."
Necroscale followed Shade's gaze. "The only place we have met, may be the only place that we cannot meet, but after sometime, the area is pulling me back."
Shadechaser nodded. "If you think that area is the only way we can talk in... peace, then we shall go there."
Necroscale looked back to Shade, "If you could follow in my shadow, I think we will be less likely to be suspect to being a target of certain creatures."
"I will do that, but just remember. The creatures that roam these lands are not the same as the ones you have seen. Also, I feel that there was something that caused a mental corruption. It could have been more than just sight."
"I will try to prevent that." Applying some ear protection, blindfold, and reducing his sensitivity to the outside, he starts to the gate he came in from. Shade jumps into his shadow to follow, and if necessary turn him in the right direction.

The Queen nodded regally yet kindly to each guest in turn. I will not ask of your help immediately, of course. I am sure that all of you need some measure of rest, and healing.
She looked at Asterian in particular as she said this with compassion, then nodded to the many questions asked of her.
All questions shall be soon answered - in time. And yes, My Daughter Chrysteel, although perhaps I may explain the prophecy as we understand it while we eat.
She beckoned for the assembled guests to walk with her, and shortly thereafter they came to a dining room, and changeling guards moved silently to each side, bowing deeply to the guests. Some virgacorns and hippogriffs in a corner were playing an enchanting melody on harps and flutes; they likewise turned and bowed to their Queen, though they did not cease their playing.
A long table stretched down the center of the hall, laden with many plates of food beyond anything Asterian could ever have imagined living in the Everfree. Several chairs were already set for the guests, with plates and crystal cups of clear, fresh water and the juices of many fruits. Tapestries, embroidered over the many centuries Avalon had existed, hung on walls to either side, depicting a time before suffering, and two regal unicorn Sisters who once watched over Their Little Ponies in a time long forgotten.
A small tray of bowls and wash-cloths were brought forward, for cleansing of both body and soul before the meal. The Changeling Queen, without hesitation, humbly turned to her Child and the Destined Ones, and began to gently wash away the dust of much travel and the stains of many years' suffering, physically as well as spiritually and emotionally. The hooves of the Queen are the hooves of a healer.
Here within the Hidden Land of Avalon may you find peace and rest, Asterian of the Forest. May this be a refuge for you, and a home to you, for the time you are with us, and whenever you choose to return," she said softly as she did so. "Chrysteel, my Child, here have you lived for centuries uncounted, a Princess waiting to become a Queen. May you one day serve your swarm and hive as I now serve you, washing away all stains and hurts. For a Queen rules not through fear and tyranny, but through Love and Harmony. Laserbolt, when last we met, perhaps, it was in less amicable circumstances. Yet I hold no sin against you, the Laserbolt of the here and now. May this cycle bring greater friendship than you could ever hope for. Bane, my old friend, indeed there is much to discuss, much that has changed between the last time we met and now. But all shall be answered in good time.
Each and every one of the Destined Ones felt all their pains and worries washed away, all their wounds and weaknesses healed, at least in part if not in whole, that which could not be solved with food and rest. And as for food, there was an abundance awaiting them as the Queen sat herself at the head of the table and beckoned for the rest to partake as they wished of the food of Avalon, which never fades nor spoils, such was the magic of that fair land.

Schakolad almost forgot about everything he was thinking seeing the food. His eyes widened, and he dashed to the table, trying to figure out what to eat first. He reached for some sort of tart, and tossed it into his mouth, and it overloaded his senses. It was lemon and... mint? An interesting combination, and delicious at that! He turned, and saw the rest of them watching him. He swallowed, and cleared his throat. "Forgive me, comrades. It has been... a very long time since I have had proper food. Such... a very long time." He finished his sentence, his gaze drifting from his new allies to the table again.
Laserbolt grinned at his display, and joined him on the table. "It does look good, doesn't it? Hey, are those cucumber rolls?" He took a couple of the rice rolls, and put them on a plate. He started thinking about what Cadence meant about "less amicable circumstances". Maybe it was just a bit darker than this time. It seemed to be in his memories. Very... dark. He shook out of his funk, and grabbed a daisy sandwich from a stacked plate of them. "This is wonderful, yer Majesty. Thanks!" Then he realized something. Somepony was missing. Somepony had walked towards the castle, but never made it in. Nopony else seemed to notice. He cleared his throat. "Is everypony here?"

With everypony occupied with the food, North Wind quickly snuck out of the castle and into the (night?) sky above.

Bane looks at the food on the table. Then he looks at Cadence. "This kinda reminds me during the period where the brave heroes or knights would get their last and bountiful meal before heading off to a quest or a war where they may never return. Mind if you save some of that food for later? There is something I must do, and I know you have heard the screams and seen the bright light every 50 years. It's that time again, and you may end up watching it up close, if I can't make it to the site near my home."

Asterian walked as straight as he could over to the table, but he refused to sit down first. He waited there—scarred and starved—for the changeling to which he owed his life. He retracted a seat to the right of the queen, and waited for her daughter to join the table. Odd, he thought. I have never actually done this for a lady... Is it beca- Oh stop. She saved your life; you are returning the favor... So why to I feel so odd? Asterian suppressed his thoughts as he awaited the pink changeling princess to step forth and take her seat.

Necroscale walked a path to reach the gate he came through as Shadechaser followed in his shadow. Using shadow talk, Shade told Necroscale, "If you feel something bad coming, just stop for a moment to feel the air. It will tell you more than what sight and sound can."
"Will do," Necroscale stated as he walked the path to the gate, still wearing the blindfold. Necroscale had a feeling that something was not right, though he couldn't hear, nor see, anything. His scales were slightly chilling, but without a reasonable explanation for this event, he will not say anything about it.

Chrysteel walks forward and says to Asterian holding a seat for him, "It is a blessing for a guest to offer a seat for their hostess, but it is a requirement for a hostess to offer a seat for her guests." She takes her set as offered by Asterian but also holds with her telekinesis the chairs for all who are here. Her power is clearly stronger then average for a changeling, even for her rank within a hive. She waits for the others to have a seat. "Please, everypony, have a seat and enjoy your meal. We can talk about much and answer your questions while we eat. Then if you need rest, I or one of the attendants can guide you to a room. If it is me you wish to guide you, all you need to do is ask. Rendia, please join us at this time. you are apart of this as well, my personal attendant." Rendia nods and takes a seat which is push gently in by Chrysteel. "Thank you princess. I know not what to say."

Asterian smiled warmly at Chrysteel, taking a seat to her direct right. Hmm... Well, it seems that now I have a debt to repay. I wonder if Chrysteel- Wait... Is that what I think it is? His mouth began watering as the waves of aroma began wafting into his nostrils. The promise of sustenance was a true gift of life to him, but he dared not to seem unruly, especially before royalty. He looked around the table and spotted several things amongst the table he considered to be aristocracy-level luxury items; tea, bread, and baklava. Oh, sweet mother of Celestia, this looks so delicious... He could hardly restrain himself, yet as hungry as he was, he waited, motioning towards the table as if asking permission to proceed.

North Wind curled up on a cloud and quietly sobbed. Being called a prince brought back the memories of all of his friends who had been lost in the Scorching. "Slip Stream, Blizzard Bolt, Aurora Borealis, Arctic Storm, and Diamond Dust, if you can hear me, I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have listened to the guards. I should've flew in and saved you. The Zephyros Kingdom might need its prince, but I need my best friends." He couldn't take it anymore. He was bawling like a foal, not that he was really that old anyways, Then he smacked himself for being an idiot, because if anypony heard him crying, they would ask him what's wrong, and then he'd have to explain.

Chrysteel chuckles at Asterian's reservation to keep himself within morals. she says to him, "You owe us no debt, Asterian. It is what Mother raised us to do. Also, the hungry are hungry and the full make nice gestures. Though you show manners beyond your years, it is fine to let go now and then and seek what you desire. Mother, I think a heart is hurting, within your kingdom, over what I cannot tell. I can not tell where the heart hurts but it is coming from one of our new friends and allies." Chrysteel hands Asterian some earl grey tea and some biscuits for a start. She then gestures to all the items on the table. "Eat your fill everypony. and ask what questions you will of us. Also, please inform our friend, when he returns, he may do the same." Rendia gets up and says, "Excuse me my ladies may I be excused for a bit I will check on the guests who have remained and see how they are. I think I can find them no problem." With that Rendia get up and goes locking for the missing ponies. She is quickly able to find North Wind resting on a cloud some where above the kingdom.
===somewhere above Avalon=== She approaches north Wind and says, "You seam to be hurting within yourself? Would you like a shoulder to let it all out on? Though I am Lady Chrysteel's attendant I am also charged with making sure our guests feel welcomed and at peace here, just like many of the Avalonian changelings. May I have a place next to your cloud? My name is Rendia Amore Chrysalis." her words are filled with a caring emotion. It also seams she is sincere about offering him a shoulder to let it all go on. She waits patiently for North Wind's reply.

As soon as Chrysteel gave Asterian the biscuits, he made up his mind and began eating. Although he was a pure-blood unicorn, he ate with his hooves, for his magic was inhibited by a suppressed trauma long forgotten. He ate whatever he could, but he did so with enough grace so as not toe seem ravenous or impolite.
After a short while, he turned to the royals to his left and said, "I thank you both kindly for this, your majesties. I can not describe what this means to me. I never would have imagined in a Tartarus as this that there was still such as thing as Generosity." Although Asterian himself did not notice, something changed inside him at that point. Merely understanding that there were kind and giving souls in the world put him at ease.
