Though Rendia does let Asterian see her hoof, she asks, "Is there a reason for you asking to see my hoof?" Rendia is also looking at Chrysteel. The pink on her is slightly more red in color now. But other then that Chrysteel seams to be fine. Rendia shakes her head and think, "Sister, you should never put yourself in these kinds of situations."

When Midnight had seen that everything had been sorted out with Christeel, he looked around himself taking everything in, he listened to there conversation, but only in passing. He wanted to take in everything this would not be a day he would forget easily.

Asterian ignited his horn, and slowly, a clasp of chains wrapped themselves around Rendia and Asterian's hooves. Though they were strong and bonding, they felt soft... Almost like a cloud. Starfall closed his eyes, breathed deep, and swore on an oath.
"By darkest night or brightest day, I will guard Chrysteel with my life. By this vow, I swear to uphold my honor." With that, he opened his eyes and the chains faded.

Shade looks towards Asterian, and mutters, "Love is strong, and nothing can break true love, but sometimes one doesn't find true love and is left lost to wander Oblivion." Closing their eyes, Shade sighs before speaking up, "As the dark replaces the light, the light does the same for the dark. Time here is just a blur, and we are under stress until we eliminate the threat. 'Time is of the essence.' Our time... cannot be forgotten. Our lives might mean something, but until we set the world free, we are still equivalent to 'another toy turned' in His eyes."
Why do I even mention the concept of completing this quest? His rule seems to have so many holes, hitting the right one seems pointless. Though, with the positive emotions coming from the others, I feel more likely to join in the 'raid' upon his rule. Oh, Oblivion, assist our task.

An inn in the Dragon Lands
"You know, it defeats the purpose of a trip if you never leave your room," Blaze chided Tinker.
"I know, but after seeing dragons up close, I realized how innacurate my dragon doll was," answered Tinker as he put ink to parchment, figuring out the corrections for his design."
"Yes, and Gum Drops will still be happily chasing his mother with his horribly inaccurate dragon for weeks, so I think you can spare the time to go outside. You won't find what you're missing cooped up un this room."
Tinker paused. Blaze was right. He had left his happy life as a toymaker in his small village because he couldn't shake the feeling something was missing. He hoped he could find it soon and return home.
Tinker adjusted his glasses and looked at the small blue alicorn doll that had been his constant companion since he was a colt. "You're right, let's get some fresh air"
Tinker floated the parchment back into his saddlebags and opened the door. "After you, Princess," he said with a tone of mock sophistication.
"Why thank you good sir," She replied with the same tone.
Then the virgacorn and living doll left the inn to explore the city.

Rendia smiles and says, "when the time comes, I would like to give you a great honor. From this moment fourth, as I am the head attendant for Chrysteel, I Rendia doth name you my second. Congrats Asterian, I Hope you can uphold the job of being one of Chrysteel's attendants as well as I have these last 1000 years. I sense there is one we might be missing. A being near by with a love for his craft but there is a hole within him. I think he may also be one who can work with us. If he would join us." Rendia looks in the direction of the inn and says, "I leave Chrysteel to you Asterian. I wonder who this feeling belongs to. Be right back." Rendia heads off looking for the sensed beings, Tinker and Blaze.

After walking around a bit, Tinker and Blaze found themselves in the market. Blaze relaxed on her friend's back and smiled as she watched Tinker talking excitedly to a book vendor. Apparently he had a book Tinker had been looking for. She liked seeing the usually quiet pony so animated, but now he was using those fancy magic terms that made her head hurt. So she tuned him out and started to watch the others in the market.

Not far From them, as if looking for something, is a being that resembles the ancient fabled changelings, but this one has translucent angel wings instead of the insect like ones changelings normally have. She comes over and asks Tinker and Blaze, "Excuse me, Maybe you can help me? I am looking for someone. Have you seen a being with a heart that beats like a toy and a being who seams to be connected to said heart?"

Asterian smiled as Rendia left, leaving him with the unconscious Chrysteel. "Here," he said to her. "I'll get you some place comfortable." He took off his magnificent cloak and set it upon his beloved. He then looked at her and concentrated on her, sparking his horn. He closed his eyes, feeling the strain as he set her on his own back and began to carry Chrysteel towards where he remembered the Elder Dragons were, thinking he could potentially find some help there.

Midnight had began to notice something about this group. They were much like knights, all trying to find favor with the same women, but he knew that hope would only come if they could ban together, and this is what he intended to do. Midnight walked over to Asterian You must not push yourself so hard. If you try to do it on your own then you are sure to be hert or exhausted, but then who will be there for the ones who need you. No let me help you, that we may all do it together." Midnight not only ment this to help Asterian with Christeel, but hoping that they will start to get the message in the bigger picture as well.

Even in her sleep, Chrysteel gives a faint smile at Midnight's words.
Her dreams however, were farm from restful. Her and Lilith were fighting within. Now they try to find out who will dominate the field this time. Chrysteel seams to have the upper hoof one moment then not so the next. They are a perfect match against one another. Neither and take out or defeat the other. The two finally come to a realization that as long as they are fighting, the main battle with discord would not be won. So the two decide to make a deal with each other Lilith only asks to be let out once in a while and Chrysteel asked for in return Lilith taught her everything she knew about love. For now the two seam to have come to a compromise, but who knows how long it will last.

Blaze flies up and bops Tinker on the head, getting his attention.
"Hey dork, pay attention, this mare is asking for our help. She's looking for a 'being with a heart that beats like a toy' and a being connected to that heart. I'm pretty sure she's talking about us, though I'm not sure which one of us is which."
"That does fit us." Tinker turns to Rendia. "But why are you looking for them, I mean us, I mean...?"
They had only arrived here yesterday so he couldn't imagine why someone would be looking for them. The way she asked though, it was like something out of one of the fantasy books he read as a colt. 'Maybe she is going to ask me to help save Equestria. Ha, yeah right, thats just silly.' he pondered before quickly pushing the thought aside.

Sitting silent looking to the sky, Shadechaser states, "Nothing... no one... no creature... sitting idle and dealing nothing can make a difference. No strength can fight a well trained brain, and nothing can beat a seasoned veteran of battle except a match of wit." Holding out the twilight shard, Shade lowers their voice, "As one comes from gray, another returns. As a being comes to darkness, and another to light, we all are trapped in cycles of light and dark." Getting up, Shade continues, "Without a reason to remain, one may become lost."
Silence falls upon Shade's ears as they look toward the direction Rendia went. Rendia... how long has it been since you saw your friends of old? How long have you lasted since they became trapped? How long... can you remember this event before it becomes a blur? How long have I waited... to feel... another's emotional past? Are the events I felt before something I have to endure again? Am I, too, lasting in an endless cycle as this world seems to be? Will I too endure a pain that will only fade in thousands of years? For many only time will tell. Feeling an urge, Shade starts to search for Rendia.

Time Energy: ??%
"What of Laserbolt?" Clockwork queried as he replaced the shackle of Bray-Tanniya, his sister of seas and sailing "What role does he have in all of this? Surely you know he pursues me through time, or I discover him under a rock..."
The Alicorn, for the first time since Clockwork laid eyes on Him, appeared perplexed.
"I am...unsure." the Alicorn admitted, not returning his gaze from the floor "The name means very little, even if it had been attributed to a mighty warrior, or a traveller as you say...I suppose this will be something you can hold over me." The last addition to the sentence was somewhat cheery, as if He entertained the thought.
At last, the chains began to funnel to a point, the last real names disappearing before becoming blank on the iron shackles. It was here the Alicorn stopped him.
"Not yet, not until this world is safe to move in all eight dimensions." He said, staring at a far off point obscured by the mist ahead "And you have managed to keep that anger in check."
Clockwork, despite himself, sighed dramatically "I suppose that is because Father's chain lies ahead, and seeing it destroyed would effectively doom me?" No surprise the Alicorn nodded, a small smile on his face. "Then I suppose I am finished here, my previous self. I thank you for illuminating that my family is not totally to blame for my predicament, I shall give Cadence my apologies. I do not suppose that Discord and Father are free beings though?"
The Alicorn laughed, Clockwork remembered he had a wicked laugh, like gears grinding into each other. "I never said for them to be forgiven, at least not fully. We can hold starlight in our hooves but we will still annoy our family by flicking it like a schoolfoals, and in that regard are no better than the mortals we watch over."
Clockwork nodded, that was true, very true. How many times had he prodded Queb with an army or made an unannounced visit to the Sisters? It seemed childishness was the making of gods after all. He supposed only one question remained. "Where to from here? Discord's inner sanctum is one I would rather not be part of a second time." the custard ants had been a little much that time. The Alicorn seemed to agree.
"Indeed. Seek the one known as Tragedy and pull her from her nightmare, but be sure that all parts of her are accounted for this time." the Alicorn...generally seemed annoyed "If I have to sit through another world ending I'll consider possession..."
"Double paradox helix conundrum?"
"Double paradox helix conundrum."
The both laughed a dire tune as the silver swallowed them both...
Clockwork awoke again on the floor, next to an unconscious Applejack. He waited for a system reboot before tentatively standing, feeling around in his blind world. He...did not appear to be within the chaos, unless it was chaos by not being chaotic? Clockwork held his head with thumb and forefinger. "Easy there, Clockwork, easy..." he said in what he assumed was a quiet voice, what with audio still down "...you just met yourself and walked through living chaos to do it. Infinite memory only helps when in the loop of where and when." The mechanoid straightened himself out, adjusted his tie and flexed his joints a few times "Alright, optical sensors up on my mark in three...two...one."
Clockwork opened his eyes...

Applebloom looked in dismay as the shadows of existence dragged Applejack into the darkness. The hole shrank down to nothing. A brief icy wind blew through the void.
"B-but-! T-this ain't how it was supposed to go, this was supposed ta HELP her, Ah ... Ah didn't mean to, Ah didn't plan to . . . this wasn't . . ."
This Is Not What You Intended. This Was Not What You Desired. Nor Is It What I Desire. But No Pony Can Ever Be Saved Unless They Wish To Be Saved. That Is Truth.
Applebloom shuddered. "Ah know that ... now."
But It Is Not Yet Finished.
"Huh?"
"HI-YA!"
The great void opened. Like a jammed barn door being bucked in, the hole cracked back open again, and grey hooves with traces of orange like tongues of sacred fire pulled at the edges, empowered by sheer will and determination.
"AAAAAAGGGGHHH!" Applejack snarled, the shadows covering her like a herd of hoofball tacklers.
You Underestimate How Much She Loves You.
"APPLEBLOOM!"
The grey mare marched slowly, but surely, out of the black hole, the shadows holding onto her, and onto each other like tar stretching all the way back to the Abyss.
"Applejack!"
"Appleboom Ah'm sorry! Ah never meant ta be mean or cruel! Please forgive me, little sister!"
Applejack's muscles bulged as she dragged the entire mass of shadows along with her back towards the Light, the endless expanse of pulsating lights that she knew were not stars, but souls, pure and joyous, blazing so brightly that brightness itsef seemed dim. More shadows reached out of the black hole trying to pull her back in. The purple blobs on Applejack's body were poking and wailing.
"Applebloom, just ya wait! Ah'm gettin' this gunk off! Then Ah'm coming ta join ya! Just ya wait! An' we'll be together! All of us! Ah promise! Just wait a bit longer! Ya big sister promises!"
Applebloom blinked and she made a snap decision. Golden light sparkled around her for a moment before a gold necklace formed around her neck. In the center was a red gem shaped like a heart, a hammer, and a wrench.
The hoard was beginning to gain strength as AJ's advance slowed.
Using her hooves like ponies of the Second Age could, Applebloom undid her necklace and reached through the barrier, so near, yet so distant, infinitely distant and close at the same time.
AJ reached out her hoof, slowly now, with determination like iron. Their hooves almost touching...
Applebloom slapped her Element of Harmony into Applejack's out stretched hoof. AJ's mouth opened in wonder.
Applebloom smiled. "Ah forgive ya, Abigail. Ah'll be waitin' fer ya. Now ya take good care o' that now, ya hear?"
A duplicate appeared around Applebloom's neck. The bond between sisters, which transcended space and time and destiny and the endless loops of mad goddesses, increased, thus defying Entropy and her grasping shadows.
The Father smiled as the gem on Applejack's hoof shifted into the shape of an orange Apple.
"Applebloom ..." AJ's eyes widened. "Right, Ah promise! Second chances like this don't come around every day, and Ah intend to make the best of it! So wait fer me! Cause Ah'm joining ya someday, you and th' Father both! YA HEAR? Save a space fer me next ta Lance and Swordbloom cause Ah'm gettin' in!"
"How do Ah know yer not just sayin' that?"
Applejack smiled. It almost seemed like the shadows had no effect on her now as she spoke, eyes fixated on the Father and Applebloom. "An' disappoint mah sister later? What's the point o' tellin' a lie or th' truth if all it does is hurt somepony? What's the point of holdin' back the truth if it helps somepony? That ain't th' Kind thing ta do. You were right. You were always right, both o' y'all. Ah'm sorry, Father. Ah knows now, jes' a li'l bit more. This here gunk, these shadows... Ah can't clean it off mahself. Ah'm... Ah'm sorry, fer everythin'. Please forgive me fer all... this. Ah ain't proud o' it. Ah'm done runnin'. Ah'm done hidin'. From now on, Ah'll be doin' th' Kind thing."
That Is The Right Answer! smiled the Father of Alicorns.
And a pitch-black apple turned right side up.
The horde of shadows pulling back Abigail broke in two like a cane sugar sculpture, and the ones still holding onto her scattered like pepper in soapy water. All the shadows fell back into the black hole like gravity had gone sideways for them.
One shadow fluttered her purple-black wings, holding off on falling away for a few spare moments. Don't think Thi- i- over Applejack! ---e d-y you'll ente- Her Nothingness Entropy, a-d we will be wai-in- for you!
Abigail turned and replied calmly to the shadow. "Sorry, but that ain't never happin'."
The shadow fell back into the black hole.
The orange mare slowly exhaled, looking at the treasure in her hooves in awe. She understood. "Kindness," she whispered.
She looked up. "Ya couldn't o' jes' told meh from the start?"
If I Had Just Told You, You Would Have Treated It As Nothing More Than A Lecture.
"Ah guess... Ah guess Y'got a point there," she replied humbly, looking at her sister.
You're Free Now, And Forevermore, smiled the Stallion, Who was a Colt, Who was an infinite world of worlds, Who was a King, and Who was a Friend, and Who was a Father. Your Friends Await You.
Gravity seemed to reverse for Applejack as she slowly began falling 'upwards.'
"Applebloom! Ah'll see ya later!"
"Ah know!" Applebloom smiled.
Applejack began to float back towards The Truth.
Ah breathed in, then slowly breathed out. "Ah promise Applebloom. Ah promise."
Then Ah groaned, an' waited a while fer mah body t' regenerate. That's right, this here room was one o' those rooms that even Master's dirty claws couldn't touch.
It feels SO good ta think an' talk normally again... ha, good one, Liarjack, tellin' th' Truth ta yerself. Howdy, Master, how ya doin'.
Some time later, and several rather complicated mental puzzles later, a strangely orange mare covered in grey dust turned grey again, or at least grey enough to seem "normal" while still allowing a hint of orange through. She wasted no time getting over to Clockwork, helping the Time God up.
"Ah'd totally do that if Ah were you... ah, screw it," she sighed as He turned on His optical sensors anyways.
Fortunately, neither of them were assulted with ever-increasing orders of magnitude of insanity. Rather, they both were able to take a normal look around the room, as long as they kept their eyes away from the indescribable Chaos that was just outside the door.
It was old, very, very old, literally older than Time Himself, and He knew quite well, considering Who this window belonged to. Yet for its ancient nature, it was remarkably barren, untouched and unscarred and unadorned. Its sole purpose was, after all, to simply house the Truth.
Abigail Jacqueline the Fifth, once called Applejack, took a deep breath of the ancient air, if it could be called that, unaware of the mirror-like quality that had come to her eyes. An orange apple shape glowed briefly from within her chest where her heart would otherwise be, then vanished. There would be another time for that.
"Ah reckon' we're supposed ta share a lot, not that Ah suppose either of us want ta hide much," said the grey earth pony, getting up and stretching. "But Ah has no idea o' what ta do, now. Ah'm pretty sure this is ain't all we came fer. Let's stay, then, if ya ain't ready?"
