The metagame:
simple dungeon crawl
any and all metagaming allowed.
No powerplaying
no godmodding
everypony starts out with nothing but the fur on their flank
No summoning items from home
One pet of a strength less than or equal to AJ maximum
No IC/OOC differentiation necessary if pertinent to the game
No "pointless/off-topic" chat in the game
Full map provided, but you'll have to put the markers in yourself as you go along
Cooperation encouraged but not required
Looting of enemies and chests encouraged
Final boss can be reached immediately but invincible until you get the necessary items. Long way around ovO

Backstory:
Long: You are gathered here from all walks of life, warriors, artisans, shopkeepers, yet all of you have chosen to come to this dungeon of your own free will. Each of you have been given communication devices which allow free communication, as well as information about just about anything you will encounter in the area. It is known that at the end of the dark prison there waits a powerful creature of hideous strength and skill, such as only can be beaten by the bravest, strongest of adventurers, and who threatens the well-being of all of Equestria. He is ancient and evil and cannot be bargained with or redeemed. Within this prison, his prison, he was long held captive, but now the madpony runs the madhouse and the place has become a fortress, filled with deadly enemies and the looted treasures of numerous cities. Once you enter, there is no hope of escape save by the exit door guarded by this most powerful of enemies. There does exist a door directly to this ancient evil, but you have been strongly advised not to attempt it before first gaining experience and better equipment than the fur on your flanks. It is said that there will be stations here and there where tools may be found for repairing items, should you find any.
