Ruby and Sapphire sift threw the data at an abnormally fast rate filtering and organizing before sending right to cosmic. Cosmic for his part put the buds in and closes his eyes. He listens intently as if listening for a familiar pattern. when he finds the pattern he is looking for there is a flash from him and everything around the ships turns black no sound no motion nothing. Off a ways they see cosmic following something. If any of the crew try to follow ruby shakes her head. in the crew's mind they hear. "This is for him to do. We are only the witnesses. another force is trying to get in now. Sapphire is playing with them While I focus on Cosmic's side of things. Sapphire's codes here in the data space are purely for distraction and defense while mine are for a more offensive aspect."
==========Inside the data space of area 101.==========
Cosmic is surrounded by the data of something. He seams to know what it is. He recalls A ship. no his mother's ship, a power and A rage as dark as space itself. what ever happened here he caused its end but what caused him to do so? for the life of him now he couldn't remember. he desides to walk just a bit further.
==========outside the internal pocket, inside the data space========== ruby is monitoring Cosmic for signs of trouble, when sapphire shows up. Sapphire says, "My defense grid will not hold for long. They are far more advanced then my programing can counter. We need to be quick or cosmic will be in danger."
Ruby shakes her head says, "At this point sister all we can do is be there for him and ride this out. I will help reinforce your defense grid but Cosmic will have to face them sooner or later. He needs to be quick or we will all end up like the other ship surrounding him now. it is nothing more then data now. Only power and a memory is left."
==========inside the internal pocket, inside the data space========== Cosmic soon finds the source of the emotion that caused it. It turns his rune covered body black as the void. Cosmic steel's himself and pushes into the data breach.
((Magus can you do me a favor. please put the replay of Cosmic's memory form the last RP in for me. I don't think I can find it at this time.))

The response was immediate, as each and every creature connected to the neural network instantly knew what Teal thought of the matter and why he thought that way on it. They simply knew, the way they knew that grass was green. It also got past poor communication skills quickly, which was very useful if you weren't exactly an epic orator. Already, chairs were crawling and slithering their ways over to the meeting room, and Planeshifters appeared with Elders and Advisors in their embrace. The chair beneath him purred with contentment as he stroked the arm. The Meeting Room was comfortable, a living, breathing chamber like all the others on the ship, but with its own personality. Butterfly displays on the wall were set to appear like windows into grassy fields and forests back home, though they could be used to display any number of images when thought at. In the middle was a pair of mouth-like structures with what appeared to be a swarm of tiny gnats or fireflies; it was one of Harmonia's answers to holographic displays, and had even higher resolution than most "normal" holograms. At the moment, it was displaying a three-dimensional representation of the ship. Hahaha the Herdfather chuckles as he pets the arm of his seat. Do you want to meet me in the meeting room? I need to take a minute to prepare, I'll walk.Teal leaves his seat and exits the bridge, heading down the hall towards the back of the ship where the meeting room is. As he walks he takes up a small butterfly display from the wall and begins to enter notes on what needs to be covered during the meeting. The Herdfather looks up from his work to step on a rectangular platformed weaved out of thick vines which makes up the tram system on board the mothership. A 2D "holographic" display of the ship with tram stations appears in the center of the platform, prompting a destination. Teal presses for a trip to the back of the ship and a glass like shell forms over the platform and the tram zooms off. As he waits, Teal busies himself with his notes and issues to address on his portable butterfly display.

The communications officer receives the coordinates and sends them to the teleportation room."Coordinates received. Sending in coordinates onto screen. Teleportation is ready, sir."
Bane looks at the screen and sees the coordinates. "Send the coordinates to the rest of the council and have them wait for my command. I would like to meet them personally before we get down to business. Ben Vios." Bane teleports to the coordinates. He is in his old royal family clothing.
Buckeye contacts the fleet and sends in the cargo mission specs. "I'll take the job while my fleet handle the cargo mission. I'll be at the docking bay waiting for him with a Pelican." With that, Buckeye heads for the docking bay to meet with this mysterious officer.

Sirens were sounding all over the ship as Tila went from control panel to control panel, a grim expression on her face. "All hooves to battle stations. Do not let those pira-"
Another explosion rocked the ship.
"Ma'am! We've lost the starboard engine, ma'am!"
"Redirect all power to shields, hold them off!"
The ship shuddered as railguns boomed, laser cannons fired and Nova bombs exploded outside the windows. A force-field shuddered and went offline as massive emergency doors slammed shut to prevent a vacuum from forming.
Then the lights went out.
"Ma'am, they've got us caught in a tractor beam! None of my control panels are working, I think they've EMP'd the bridge!"
"Get the emergency panels and seal off th-"
Everypony froze as metallic CLANKS sounded, and the sound of metal burning under the unyielding light of plasma cutters.
beep-beep-beep-beep.
"EVERYPONY GET DOWN!"
The charges tore open the weakened hull as hundreds of pirates came aboard. Tila smashed into a side panel and retrieved emergency blasters, and began firing shots one after another.
"I need backup here!"
There was much to discuss, much to prepare for. So many procedures and laws to take care of. Had they really become so xenophobic over the last few decades? Of course they had. They didn't know...
Bane found himself on a wide platform, which was impressive enough without being unnecessarily gaudy or extravagant. Before him were the assembled members of the Homeworld Council, elected or chosen ambassadors and representatives from each nation and group within the territories, Lord Discordance, and the Four Sisters. Each one bowed as low as their rank demanded, some a bit lower out of respect.
"Welcome to Homeworld, your Majesty," said the Sun Herself.
The officer in question wasn't difficult to find, though he was quite a bit more suave than his requests had sounded. Lieutenant Bond had a brown, cropped mane and blue eyes, well-toned body that was obviously used to combat, and very intelligent eyes. He didn't seem to have brought much other than a single suitcase. The unicorn turned and saluted as the Sheriff walked up.
"Sir, good afternoon, sir. Lieutenant Bond, Manes Bond. The Commander told me to expect you here."

Cosmic had been in the equinox gas containment room when this all had happened. he is a colt 10 years younger then he is now. He drags himself to the com pad, "Cosmic Blitz to bridge. Massive equinox gas leak in cargo bay. Severe exposure detected. I hear you mother and am on my way." Cosmic despite the wounds from severe equinox gas exposure, heads for the bridge. He is heavily hindered by the exposure. by the time he gets there it is too late. he watches as a horrible event takes place right before his eyes.

Bane bows back at them in respect and gratitude towards them. "Thank you for allowing me to meet you all here. It has been a long time since I have seen my former home again, the home that was once held by the Ancient Empire and is now a home to the newer generation of ponies, griffons, changelings, dragons, etc. Some of you have known me long ago before I disappeared with my fellow kind. Some of you don't. My name is Bane Emural, the Emperor of the Ancient Empire. And it has been a long time to see you all here, those of you that I have known for many years and whose ancestors were once my friends."
Buckeye looks at the Lt. with wary eyes. "At ease. Nice meeting you here Lt. Bond. I am Buckeye Starwing, also known as the Sheriff. I will be responsible on transporting you to your destination. Though if you try anything funny and I'll dump you in the nearest pit, so don't try me. Do that and I won't question on why you won't take the usual route down." Buckeye gets into the Pelican and preps it for take-off.
Buckeye's fleet departs the station and heads for their mission.

The Herdfather sighs, worried about this meeting. It's no press conference, but word will get around of his plans across the fleet once he reveals them to the elders waiting for him. There's no telling how loyal his fellow Harmonians are.
The tram slows to a stop as it reaches its destination. Teal steps off and walks down the quiet hallways leading to the meeting room. Finally arriving, he enters without looking at anyone's faces and takes his seat at the far end of the table. Teal sets the display on the table and looks over his elders and advisors.
Before we begin, I would just like to say that everything that will be brought up in this room is not something that we can change overnight, or even in the next month. he says calmly and quietly. He leans forwards a little bit. We will be discussing future agreements with Homeworld and propositions to change old Harmonian policies. he says. He leans back in his chair to allow the members of the meeting room to process this information.

What Cosmic saw was something no colt should ever have to see. It was gruesome. It was gory. It was slaughter, plain and simple. Before him were the many valiant crewponies of his mothers command deck, most already slain. A big, burly pirate was standing in front of the gasping body of his mother, and two others were holding her by the scruffs of her uniform. All he could make out was what his mother said next: "If you want him, you're going to have to kill me first. I'll never give you my son!"
She spat in the pirate's face, and got a hoof to the barrel for her trouble, slumping over in agony and retching what remained of her last meal onto the floor. Cosmic saw red, and not for the first time had half a mind to blast the burly pirate for hitting his mother... but before he could, the pirate drew what looked like a Mk II pulse handgun and pointed it at his mother's chest, growling something inaudible from this distance.
In those final moments, Tila looked over to the command bridge exit and saw Cosmic trying to save her. She smiled one final time, and mouthed something to Cosmic he would never forget for the rest of his life.
"I will always love you, my son."
Time slowed as the pirate fired the gun into Tila's barrel, directly into the heart. There was no explosion, no look of shock or scream of agony. Just his dear mother, jerking slightly, then falling limp, never to rise again - something no colt, let alone a son, should ever have to see. The death of a mother, right before his very eyes.
Rage.
Rage.
He lost all control of his actions, of his power, of his magic. The runes on him went from the crimson red to shadow black, and when he next spoke, it sounded like a monster has been released, so guttural, so primal his screams.
He charged into that room, destroying every single thing between him and the pirate, the MONSTER that had taken his mother's life with as much emotion as a farmer pulling a weed. The disgusting thug tried to turn, only for Cosmic to catch his metallic front hoof and yank it off entirely in one savage ripping motion, eliciting a howl of pain as the stallion called for his crew to kill the blasted colt, not knowing that he was actually their target.
It didn't matter. Not to the wrath-blinded killing machine that Cosmic had become. The colt's voice finally came to him as he glared hatefully at the stallion with an expression chiseled from solid helium ice.
"You have taken my mother from me. So shall i take your life from you. Emotion Spell: Shadow Blood Destroyer!"
Neither the pirate leader nor any of his crew who had the misfortune of being in the same room as the colt had any remains to be buried, not even scraped into a tin can.
Cosmic stood in the center of a sphere of blood and blasted metal, shaking as the adrenaline finally began wearing off, leaving him with an empty feeling, as if the entire universe had lost any purpose, any meaning. Vaguely, he became aware of the ship's power systems coming back online after the brief, but fatal, lapse due to the EMP that had been used earlier. The ship's automatic defense systems seal the wound in the ship's hull as the pirates left without what they had come for.
It took a few moments for the full weight of the situation to hit Cosmic, but when it did, it hit like a supernova.
With a sobbing scream, he fell next to the body of his mother, burying his muzzle in her limp arms, now growing cold. He had lost more than family, more than his self-control or his magic that day.
He had lost his innocence. He had lost a part of his soul.
He scarcely even moved as what was left of the crew quietly asked the computer to take them home, carefully avoiding the young, traumatized colt now sitting in their midst, a colt who had done what nopony up till now had thought possible and massacred half an entire crew of pirates with a single spell, in the blink of an eye, and made it look easy. They didn't know quite what to do, even as the ship's native artificial intelligence encouraged them to comfort the sobbing child.
Cosmic ignored them all. There was nothing else in his world right now.
Darkness.
The Sun and the Moon bowed gravely to the emperor, and Lord Discordance also put his right hoof forward.
"It is My honor, your Excellency. I regret that our previous meeting may have been... less than amicable, but I hope that the two of us may forge a new relationship now, you and I."
"Rest assured that Discordance is fully reformed, your Excellency. Come, let us carry out this conversation somewhere more comfortable. I have arranged for a conference room for us, as I believe this meeting may take a bit longer than would be comfortable just standing," smiled the Sun.
The lieutenant nodded curtly and saluted, and got onboard without any further comments or complaints.
It was about halfway down to the planet that they realized they were being followed.
There was much murmuring as the the Elders looked at each other, wondering at the scope of the Herdfather's proposal.
We assume that these changes will not be to the lifestyle of the everyday Harmonian citizen? queried a doe, the Elder Storyteller who was responsible for keeping the history and culture of Harmonia intact wherever the Children of Nature went.

I promise you, the Herdfather places his hoof to his chest, over his heart. This will have no life style changes in everyday Harmonia at all, nor should they effect Harmonian economy. The changes we will be discussing will be aimed towards our social policies, primarily. Other fields will be covered as they are brought up.

In the darkness The true cosmic, held in the same position as his younger self, could be seen but before anypony could do anything, the world around them seams to shift slightly. Ruby and Sapphire look to each other before fanning their wings and flying to Cosmic's side. Right as they land, their horns glowing two tiers of four tiers, a shield of red and blue envelops them as they says, "Reflective_Agies.exe Combo Tech Code."
Right as their combo ability activated the chuckling of a school filly could be heard nearby them and spikes of pure darkness lance out, rebounding off the shield and into the darkness once again. Cosmic seams to still be in some kind of trance as if searching for something only findable within ones own self.
It isn't long before two entities that look to be a copy of ruby and sapphire step out of the shadows. They both giggle like school fillies.

Bane bows towards Lord Discordance and nods towards the Sun. However, he becomes hesitant into moving into the conference room. "Before we can have an official meeting, I would have to introduce the Ancient Council first." At that moment, several teleportations are felt and the entire Ancient Council appeared. "I would like to introduce to you, the Ancient Council." He starts to introduce the council by pointing at its members, each bowing their heads towards the lords and mistresses of Homeworld. "This is Timekeeper Dusk and Timekeeper Dawn, the Ancient Concepts of Time, Defense General Samuel Armorwing, General Stary BattleHoof, General of the Ancient Army,..."
Bane continues down towards the end of the ten ponies present in the council. He brings up the last pony to his side. "And this is my daughter, Elise Emural. She maintains civility, security, and happiness in the colony ships." Elise bows towards the Homeworld's leaders. "It is a pleasure to meet you all."

The Storyteller raised an eyebrow. What manner of social policy change do you speak of, Herdfather? Relations with Outsiders?
It would be sensible, given what we now know about the state of affairs, mused an old goat, the Elder Farwalker responsible for missionary work and investigation into foreign cultures. He was known as Father Horn, and his familiarity with "Outsider" news was remarkable for a Harmonian, despite being quite limited in comparison to most other nations due to the culture of isolation and xenophobia that pervaded Harmonia.
"Pingback data analysis indicates unauthorized user acquired administrative access to hidden encrypted spatial-temporal logs," chirped Not-Ruby cheerfully.

The floor and walls suddenly turned into a thicket of jagged blades thrust inwards. For a normal pony, it would have been literally impossible to react in time. But Sapphire and Ruby weren't normal ponies.
The Princesses and the draconequus bowed deeply. "Welcome, all of you. It has indeed been too long. Please, come. There is much to discuss."
They entered a large conference chamber, ergonomic with many seats efficiently placed so as to give each individual a clear and unobstructed view of the others and the holographic display in the middle, while being comfortable and fitted with all the desirable modern amenities. This was, after all, a diplomatic vessel, and one belonging to the oldest of the factions at that. Bitopia may have used more expensive materials, and Harmonia may have insisted on using a living chamber, but it was to the Princesses' tastes, and in any event the Lord Discordance could change it to His own tastes on a whim simply by snapping His fingers if He wished.
Once everyone was seated, the Secretary-General of Homeworld began.
"I must thank your Majesties for your patience, and especially that of your Excellency. I'm afraid bureaucracy has grown only more complicated over the centuries, though I'm inclined to believe that your Excellency would be familiar with such things."
"While that is unfortunately true," remarked Princess Twilight Sparkle, a new alicorn who was supposedly in charge of logistics, "Efficiency has been kept to a maximum as much as reasonably attainable. Thanks to a few ancient precidents on dealing with the Ancient Empire in the distant past of Ponykind, I believe we may thankfully dispense with the long and arduous formalities regarding the recognition of a new foreign power."

With words similar to the two not twins, Ruby and Sapphire counter their ability with a redirect. They change the target of the ability to the not twins, making them seam real and themselves not so.
Cosmic is still muttering as he lays there in his trans. What words he is speaking soon become clear. He says to the not twins, "Return my mother's ship to me. Or you will regret ever taking it in the first place." he keeps repeating this phrase over and over again getting a little louder each time. The runic marks on his body turn black for a moment before turning to a red color and then black again. The color shift seams to be constant.

Bane nods and speaks. "Well, we are glad to have seen your kind grow to the point of space travel and was able to spread peace and harmony to your system. Even more when learned from my kind's past mistakes and successes. Though many more problems and obstacles will arise and try to stop a progress of peace and harmony and replace it with chaos. No doubt that our arrival will upset the balance towards other factions. With us as a new foreign power, we may become a target by any enemies that lurk in the darkness."
He look towards the other council members and looks back at the Homeworld leaders. "I will get straight to the point here. We, the Ancient Empire, would like to make an alliance to Homeworld and your allies. We will also take control over a system for my citizens to establish a home. We scanned this system long ago and have marked it on our star map in the case that we will come back. It is inhabited by only creatures, no intelligent beings. I have sent a probe to check the system again to see if anything has changed while we were gone. This system is called the Regios System, or at least that is what we call it. You may have a much different name than ours but I will show you where it is located."
Bane pulls out a device and sets it on the table. He taps the top of the device and it activates, showing a star map of the galaxy. Bane zooms in on the star map and shows the different star systems. Homeworld and a few other star systems controlled by other factions are shown. He marks one of the star unknown star systems on the map. "That is the Regios System. It has a planet with a livable atmosphere and is uninhabitable. There are no intelligent beings that we have found, only creatures and beasts."
Buckeye notices the ships on the scanners and decides to activate the Pelican's weapons. He looks back towards Lt. Bond. "Friends of yours?"
