Dancer was curious. She says, "Mom and dad gave me my allowance for this week. Shall we get some sweets?"

Scarlett looked down hesitantly for a bit, "Well... I do like sweets. I'll come" and Scarlett followed behind everyone only keeping a short distance.

The group was met by a young earth colt, waving flyers for the Sweet Shop. Those who attended Cheerilee's class would recognize him as Coffee Cabau, who sometimes helped out at Bon Bon's. "Hey, guys! You look pretty hungry, you need to go get some food, am I right?" He grinned, waving the flyers at them energetically.

Java woke up pretty late. It was already 1:00 PM when he finally got out of bed and stepped outside. The end of school had included a huge party, and he stayed a little longer than he should have. It was probably because the adults lost him outside hunting insects and couldn't find him for a couple hours, so he got to bed at midnight.
At any rate, the light blue earth pony was up before the day's end, he'd eaten a full meal, and he intended to find something interesting before the sun set. He began searching the various hedges in Ponyville, quickly making a mess of his already bed-headed mane.

Dancer says, "Was just about to go get some. You work for Bon Bon's don't you?" Dancer goes over to him and gets one of the flyers.

Coffee looked up at the sky, waving a flyer lazily. It seemed that he couldn't really stop. "Welllll... my mom said I was gettin' underhoof, so Bonbon said I should go out and advertise. It's more vole- voloo- just helping." He finished, not quite remembering the right word.

Scarlett stood back not knowing what to say or if she should say anything. With all the others she been running into, it only started to dawn on her that school must finally be out for the summer. She only gets to start school next year, and she had been excited.
Usually on the weekends she would hide in her house afraid to bump into anyone, but this has not been as bad as she had always imagine it. And she was glad, maybe she might actually make some friends today.
She slowly walked up to the colt with the flyers and accepted one and responded with a whisper he could barely hear "Thank you."

"You're wel- hey, do you have a sore throat? The shop has something for that, you know!" With that, Coffee pulled a bag with a licorice stick on the front. "Licorice! Not only is it delicious, it's almost like medicine! Once, I was sick for a week, and I only ate soup and licorice, and I got better really quick!" He pulled out a piece, and handed it to the pegasus. "Here!"

"Thank you," she said a little more competently but still a bit quiet. She exsepted the licorice gracfully and began to num on it savoring the taste. He seems like a kind coult. She looked back at him and gave him a shy smile and continued on to Bonbons sweet shop.

Dancer continued on to bonbon's sweet shop as well. Then Dancer remembered her mom told her to practice until she came and got her. "Pony feathers, I forgot mom wanted me to keep trying until she came and got me. So this will have to be a quick one."

Coffee seemed dumbfounded by Scarlet, and seemed to tune everything else out as he watched her walk away, head tilted. "She liked it. Huh."

Just outside the shop window, a locust flew by. So did a determined looking blue colt. Initially, it didn't grab anypony's attention... (keep posting, wait for it)

Dancer saw the colt chasing a bug and giggled a little, as she entered Bonbon's shop. She goes up to the counter and dings the bell. Then waits for Bonbon or the current shop keeper to respond.
