Laserbolt thought about it for a moment. "Well... while everything you say is true in the factual sense... hm." It seemed like he was trying to come up with a counter argument, then abandoned it. "Listen, how about this? I've got a little project I've been working on. It may help, it may not. But I've been waiting for somepony to show it off to, and you seem to know more about this situation, so you might be able to come up with a use for it." He bowed slightly, and waved a hoof to the door. "Are you up to it?"

Truth Seeker sighed. "I do not know. She does have numerous supporters among the common folk, and for all that She banished Her Sister, Princess Luna seems to be very fond of Her. But I do not think that Celestia is the true issue at hoof."
He looked directly at Moon. "If The Powers That Be are working the way I am convinced they are now, taking away the puppet won't change a thing. They would simply find a new puppet. Even a revolution would be useless - they have ways to simply wait it out, then take control in the ensuing anarchy, while the rest of us are tired and unprepared from fighting their puppets. Something has to be done to stop them permanently, not just for a few years, not just for even a generation. It would be a shame to have a victory and then leave our grandchildren to suffer again under an even more brutal system."
Lyra sighed. "All right then, but first tell me what it is, so I don't break something on accident. I've been told that I am... how did Bon Bon put it? 'Overly excitable' when it comes to certain subjects. I have no idea what she's talking about. It's not like the only known portal in Equestria to the Human world was actually in Canterlot itself and just waiting for me to get my hooves on it to travel to a world full of humans to study and look at and touch and..."
She stopped, blinked, took a deep breath, and continued. "...aaand I think I see her point now. But still."

"That thing? I thought they used it for off-world mining or something." Laser shrugged. "I kind of wanted it to be a surprise, but I guess I'll spill the beans now." He cleared his throat, and his voice changed a little bit, sounding less like some laid-back nerd and more like a radio announcer. "A few years ago, when I started my hobby of... unlawful acquisition of certain magical and scientific items and materials, I had the bright idea of snatching the Elements of Harmony from Canterlot. And I don't mean that sarcastically." Here, he laughed a little. "No wonder Discord found it so easy. You can practically walk around the whole castle if you've got connections, and believe me I've got connections. Anyway, I was able to use an essence imbuing device to force the harmonic energies into common iron, changing its molecular and magical make up." Then he stopped for a moment, to take a breath, and sigh. "I guess there was some sort of silent alarm that I set off, because the guards found me fairly quickly. But not before I made a very interesting scientific discovery, and hid it away. I named the resulting metal... HARMONIUM!" He jumped on his hind legs, fore legs in the air dramatically. "Impressed?" The grin on his face was two miles wide, and he was obviously very pleased with his monologue.

Lyra blinked. "Wait. Common iron imbued with 'harmonic energies'? What does that even mean? And how is that going to help with undoing the entire conspiracy without reinstating another?"

Laserbolt went to open his mouth, closed it, then opened it again, much to Lyra's dismay. "I think it'd be best to just show you. All I'm going to say is that everything has its counterpart." With that, he nodded to the door again.

Lyra sighed, opening the door and waving the stallion through. "Let's hope you're not just ushering in a Chaos conspiracy with this..." she muttered as she followed the stallion.

Along the way, Laserbolt continued spouting off scientific phrases like "entropic energies" and "reversal of aspects", until they reached the door to what looked like a small, abandoned hut. Laser pushed open the door, and gestured grandly inside, where Lyra saw broken furniture, cobwebs, and at least a month of dust on everything. "Come in! Mi casa es su casa."

Lyra made her way cautiously inside, careful not to bump into anything that might be useful to Laserbolt. For all she knew, the stallion was collecting spider silk, which was not unheard-of; many potions and rituals required it, and it was, after all, one of the strongest substances known in Equestria.

Laserbolt jumped over a table, and ran over to a wall with a torn up tapestry on it. "Let's see here..." After a moment of searching, his hoof caught on a loose break, which he pushed into the wall. After a brief period of nothing happening, the room shook, and the door shut behind the both of them. Then, it began to spin, and it started to slide down a series of grooves revealed by its downward path. After about ten seconds of descent, the wall opened up to reveal a gleaming white lab, with a blue trim, obviously inspired by the stallion's coat and mane. He stepped out in front of Lyra, and grinned. "Welcome, to ALBION INDUSTRIES!"

Lyra grinned widely, making the oddest of squeaking sounds that almost sounded like "squee".
"A SECRET LAB. A. SECRET. LAB!!" she gushed, hopping up and down as she looked all over the place, hooves pushing her cheeks in adorably. "I've DREAMED of secret labs in Ponyville, researched it, have all sorts of documents about it, but this is THE. BEST. THING. EVER!"
Quietly, of course.

Laserbolt laughed out loud at Lyra's outburst. "I'm glad someone appreciates it. To be honest, I did steal a good... hmmm... fifth? Quarter? Something like that. A bunch of this is stolen, is what I'm trying to say." He led her onward through the lab, gesturing to intricate machinery and relating what he thought of as high adventure, and what the diarchy thought of as felonies. "That machine over there breaks down Zapapple seeds into their base magical energies, and that runs most of the machinery here. It's insane that the Apple family uses those things in jam, one of those apples could power a small star. That machine over there I use as a sort of portal, it uses the amplified energies of one of the mirrors in Canterlot Castle. They've got, like, three of the things, so I figured they wouldn't miss one. You want humans, we could go check that out sometime." He continued this way for a good 50 yards, before stopping in front of a huge, spinning cube, held aloft by two bolts of lightning, in between a couple of steel pillars. "And this...is the imbuing station. And that in the middle is 50 cubic hooves of Harmonium." He grinned to himself. "Now the fun starts. You ready, Lyra?"

The green mare swallowed and backed up. "Uh, should't we be wearing, you know, safety equipment, lab coats, hazmat suits, exoskeletons, gas masks?" she asked, eyes darting from the portal to the zap apple machine, which could supposedly power a small star. She didn't even want to know what the Harmonium could do if things went wrong, and being the properly paranoid mare that she was (one had to be paranoid to survive in the conspiracy business), she was suddenly feeling a lot less safe than she did a few seconds ago.

Laserbolt stared at her blankly, and then began to chuckle. "Ahhh... safety equipment. That's a good one. Now, we need to-" He turned back when he realized she wasn't laughing. "Oh, don't be so worried. I've only ever died for fifteen seconds in here. AND I was alone when it happened. Between the both of us, we'll be fine."

Moonlight folded her ears and looked at the floor Truth Seeker was right The Powers must be gotten rid of, permanently but such a task seems impossible and who would be the new leader if The Powers were permanently destroyed/killed " where would we even begin to try and stop them?"

Neon did have a reaction. He looked a bit angery at something, and very tired. He says, "I think a nap and time to think this over would be good."
Neon goes back to the room he woke in and gets needed sleep, meditation and thinking done.
(Ok, i can't currently use colors. I am only able to use my phone for now. But, I can RP again.)
