Pony Cosmology: Creation (Rules and Information Thread)

Rules:
clarification: there is no ground. There is nothing. you have to create literally everything. it's like space, except it's not even cold or dark or quiet, there is no direction, there is no up or down. No sky, no air, no water, no metal, nothing. If you want air, ask the Air god. if you want stars, the Fire God has to work with the Air God to create them. if you want metal, ask the Earth God to make lava for the Water God to turn into stone, and the Fire God to turn into metal. At the moment, there is just nothingness.


No violence
No power-playing (taking control of somepony else's OC), unless EXPLICIT permission is given, by one of the GM's.
NO Game Moderating unless you are on the Game Moderating list! (Down below)
If you must swear, do it in Equestrian swears. (dang -> banish, etc)
If you're speaking in a foreign language, give a translation ooc.
No real-world politics or religion.
Please write more than just one or two words per post.
Please PARTICIPATE. If you cannot participate, tell me and I will remove your name from the list.
Obviously, I can and will change rules whenever ponies try to bend or go around them, so none of that.

For Gods only:
Everypony is a god/goddess.
Your Realm is not only your power, but your responsibility.
If something goes wrong and it's in YOUR realm, it's YOUR responsibility to fix it.
Everypony has to say what their power is, limited to a certain area. For instance, heat, life, plants, water, etc.
No controlling other gods' realms.
Nopony can so much as touch one another or even themselves AT ALL, only affect creation and maybe ruin somepony else's work.
That means no affecting other gods physically, mentally, emotionally or in any other way aside from talking.
Gods cannot in any way, shape or form, via any means, including weapons and magic of any sort whatsoever, in any way, shape or form, interact with Gods in any way, shape or form, via any means, including weapons and magic of any sort whatsoever, in any way, shape or form, save solely by TALKING.
Every action has a tangible effect on creation, and excessive horseplay can result in destroying creation and forcing you to rebuild it again.
No, you can't just say "let there be ponies", you have to get in there and shape the reality yourself. It's a long process.
If you're going to be doing evil things to your creations, just say it was evil and don't go into detail.
You can go wrecking reality, but I won't stop everypony else from ganging up on you to undo your changes.
Remember that as reality gets more complicated, it also gets more fragile.

Portals are under the jurisdiction and Realm of Gathering. Currently, gods can only create minor portals to and from THEIR OWN REALM to and from Creation, and nowhere else. PM Rundo if you have any questions.
You lose your Godhood as soon as you leave the pocket dimension. No exceptions.

For Mortals:

Insulting a God can and often will get your OC ported straight back to Equestria. They are GODS.
Do as you wish, but remember you are MORTALS.
Mortals don't get to have realms.
Mortals don't get God powers.
You cannot have any "powers" besides normal pony powers unless I EXPLICITLY say so, as with GalvinRoe.

Mortals can't so much as TOUCH or affect Gods in any way, shape, or form, no exceptions.
That means you cannot affect gods physically, mentally, emotionally or in any other way aside from talking.
Gods, however, can give Mortals power if you ask VERY, VERY NICELY.
Regardless of any powers granted by Gods or any other means, way, shape or form whatsoever, Mortals cannot in any way, shape or form, via any means, including weapons and magic of any sort whatsoever, in any way, shape or form, interact with Gods in any way, shape or form, via any means, including weapons and magic of any sort whatsoever, in any way, shape or form, save solely by TALKING.

Fires of Friendship are limited to mortals.

During Ragnarok:
Mortals:
Can only communicate to gods through speech and visuals.
Cannot otherwise affect or interact with gods or creation in any way.
Can see and hear everything that is going on
Cannot die
Can contact the Princesses at any time

Gods:
Can only communicate to mortals through speech and visuals
Cannot otherwise affect or interact with mortals in any way, shape or form
Can contact the Princesses at any time

Specific God Abilities:
Gods get certain abilities which are universal and necessary, being Gods:
They can survive anything. Comes with the job.
They can hear any prayer to them. Comes with the job.
They are empowered by prayer. Comes with the job.
They can communicate with one another no matter what happens, across any distance, from anywhere, anytime, anyplace, no matter what. That's how they can talk in the middle of space.
They can fly no matter what happens. That's how they can move in the middle of space.
They can do anything they want WITHIN THEIR REALM. It's their realm.
They are omnipresent wherever their realm is. A water god is everywhere that water is, because that god IS water.
They can Teleport. For Pinkie, with mortals. They're Gods, and She's Pinkie, and I'm GM; I don't have to explain horseapples.
They can take on mortal guise. Every mythology does it, it's how they keep mortals from going insane, etc. I'm assuming that Celestia and Luna aren't actually showing their True Form, since the True Form of a God should really be a lot more than a normal body. That's why I'm also giving it to the Gods here. Plus, it's a hassle to interact with mortals as a planet-sized being of energy whose shouts cause earthquakes.
They can shapeshift. Not that it does anything to increase or decrease their abilities.

Additional abilities: Contracts
Anyone who swears by their power and/or on the Princesses and Discord three times will be put in a binding contract that will remove their godhood or powers if broken (the godhood can be regained later if you explain the situation to the Princesses)
Oaths and Contracts can be nullified if all involved parties agree to it.
Swearing by your own True Name puts you in a binding contract that will let you keep your godhood but remove your influence over your realm within Creation if broken (you are still omnipotent inside of your own pocket dimension and Realm, however). Again, the powers can be regained if you ask the Princesses.
A blood contract (signing a contract with your own blood or some other precious substance, like your tears) allows you to fine-tune the consequences of breaking the contract. Again, the Princesses should be contacted. At no point will consequences ever exceed a simple loss of influence.

Demigods are created the biological way. No scenes please.

CLARIFICATION: seeing a lot of unwarranted self-importance among non-gods, especially among robots, when speaking with gods, so I'm going to make this a bit more clear: gods, any god, can EASILY destroy ANY non-god, barring Tator's giant spriggan. So if you're feeling a bit dishonored, well, what did Zeus do if a mortal blasphemed his name?

MORE CLARIFICATION:
"change time" means just that, making time go fast or slow, deleting time, traveling in time, etc.

how about this: any and all gods can SMITE, which is THE action of last resort and removes anything target that isn't a god from Creation, but for subtle manipulation necessary for anything besides destruction the target must be in some way, shape or form a part of that god's realm. Of course, movement is equal to change in displacement divided by the change in TIME, so TIME can still affect MOVING things, and that includes spirits that want to MOVE.
