The three unicorn now having an idea of Asterian's speed target him with a slow, weaken and vulnerability debuff. the third Pegasus uses her speed to her advantage diving in, attempts to trip him, then getting out of range all in one swift motion. The Pegasus he bucked before quickly regains his composure and takes back to the air getting ready to use a wind based attack. That one hovers about 30ft from the ground charging his attack. the final one was out for a moment trying to regain his composure.
Asterian focused his magic, trying to shield himself from the spells. He knew that if the unicorns weakened him, he was done for. He turned his attention to pegasi still assaulting him, jumping over the pegasus's attempt to trip him once more before he grabs the tail of the second, pulling him back down. He feigned snapping his neck, saying, " Hit." With that out of him, he turned back to face the others, knowing he would not last much longer. |

The second and first pegasi down for the moment he found himself under the effect of a pony votex. It is an air based grapple using the pegasi's speed as her hold. despite the shield he was still hit with both the vulnerability spell and the slow spell. The 2 unicorns now pooling their magic as if to make a combined strike. To which one they are pooling into, he could not tell. before the next wave would launch however the instructor says, "Enough! he may have learned his lesson."
the instructor looks to Asterian and says, "Do you now understand what happens when you ask for a challenge. that next attack would of had you asleep for two days, when they used it. The unicorn triplets are notorious for combo striking their foes. It was because of this Chrysteel took all three before the others had a chance to get them. Now give me 20 laps around Chrysteel's park area. Then hit the sack for the day."
Rendia is just laughing at how well Asterian did despite being outnumbered 6 to 1. "That was the funniest thing I have seen all week. I hope you learned to never ask for a challenge because you just might get one."
Rendia heads off back to Rose just to check up on her new friend and Rose.

Rose smiles and says, "Your welcome. Mother always taught me to be nice even before we both became 'servants?'. If it wasn't for Chrysteel I don't know what I would be doing right now. I would probably be feeding some half-dimwitted changeling who only cares for the love I would give him. As for mother, I haven't seen her in a few weeks now."

As he turns to the instructor, he says, " Point taken, but believe me when I say I was holding back." He pointed to the two pegasi that assaulted him repeatedly. " You two did put up a good fight, but you—" he pointed to the first one, " —fly a little too high when striking and you... well, your speed is lacking. You both would have been cut down.
In the end, numbers matter, but I wanted to see what had to be offered. Thank you, combatants, for your help." He bowed to them before passing by the instructor with a cocky grin. " Give me twenty? I will do thirty." He stopped and looked at him with a confident, yet benevolent grin... Like the type a master duelist would wear after a match well-played. |

Blue swallowed the bite she took before. "Oh. I know what that's like, must be hard for you. My parents were always very busy, but i never went so long without seeing at least one of them when i was little." She said and drank a bit of water, before continuing. "But don't worry, it gets easier the older you are." she gave a calming smile.

Rose looks to Blue and says, " I have been with the hive long enough to know that probably I will not see mom ever again. It makes me sad. But if Chrysteel is able to make the change she wishes to, then I think everything is going to be fine. Another one?" rose hold the plate for her while using unicorn telekinesis to munch on another. |

Beyond that, not even I or Rendia knows what is going through mother's head." |

Now, Run!" The instructor now holds an interment designed for keeping those who are training going for as long as the instructor wishes. He uses it on Asterian and it provides not a hurtful shock but enough of one to get the point across. Asterian rolls his eyes and sighs, but retains his smile. " Considering I have been pony-napped and shipped off, starved, and just fought 6 to 1 against these fine young gladiators, I am being lenient with my emo- What the?" He looks back at the spot where the instructor shocked him and keeps smiling, but this time a small level of darkness was added. " I think you and I are going to get along magnificently, sir. Until I can't and then twenty more it is." With that, the unicorn almost laughed as he left the room. He was trained by Grand-Master Still Water age the age of nine; rigorous training regimens were in his blood. He begins his run, starting at a brisk pace. (( This is actually in Asterian's canon storyline. )) |
