Being a fleshy human, I can't imagine they'd look very pretty. They'd likely come out looking something like really pale bat wings... but they'd be utterly massive. And I reckon they'd change the size of my chest and heart to allow for the muscles necessary for flying. A tail wouldn't hurt for stability either, that's for sure...
He might have been talking to the OCs.
...Oh. Well, you can answer, too, if you want...
Mine would likely be orange-gold and pretty big, too... it's my physique. They would definitely make it hard to wear my HEV suit, though.

Well, we've been trying to make functioning wings over at GPARC for quite some time now... it'd be really cool if we found success in that project and put a pair on my armor. I could theorize about how it'd come out looking logically, but since you asked what I'd want...
...Compact yet elegant. Nice segmented design that looks good, shiny, and solid but folds up nicely when not in use.
I wouldn't mind a pair of "wings" from the U.S. Air Force... those would just be pinned to my chest and wouldn't get me anywhere, but the adventures that come before the badge will leave me with enough stories to tell that I'll probably never need to leave the ground again.

organic wings would probably have to change my entire physiology into something approximating an eagle, except sixteen times larger due to the square-cubed law. My chest muscles would grow to almost the size of my head or larger, my arms replaced with extremely long "hands" covered in stiff bone-like "feathers" more akin to bamboo than cotton, and my legs would probably need massive changes too in order to support the weight. My bones would all be hollow, and my lungs reconfigured to continuously circulate air over the interior surface rather than the conventional "in-out" pattern that most mammals have. Most of my body would be covered first in a layer of fine down to insulate against the freezing temperatures in the upper regions of the lower atmosphere, and then a layer of slick and smooth feathers most likely oiled with sweat-like lubricant constantly to stay aerodynamic. My eyes would increase in size as well, and become much more accurate in order to spot dangers on the ground far below, possibly a mile away or more. My coccyx would elongate and also gain feathers, becoming a tail to provide stability and enable subtle changes in direction. My hair would also become a layer of down and feathers for insulation and aerodynamics, and my face would become pointed for the same reason. My mouth would lose the lips, which would flap or even tear at high speeds, instead becoming a hard bone beak that can survive hard impacts and high wind speeds. My eyes would gain a second eyelid for the same reason.
In essence, I would become a huge, intelligent bird, since every single part of the bird is critical for effective flight.
