>-->- The Dark Log -<--<
>-->- First Entry,
>- So many sights, though they appeared to be hidden. So many creatures, but the seemed scared. The residents didn't seem to take notice of my existence. I traveled to the spire that seemed to tower over the area that the residents roamed. I passed by several of the residents, most of them seemed to walk through me, but one collided with me. I didn't see their face, but they dropped a book. The area seemed to slowly lose traffic as I stared at the book. So many things went through my meek little mind. What if this was the book I was searching for, or something greater? I thought. When I looked up from the book, I saw a red light, but it seemed to not exist. What was it? I looked back at the book, and it seemed to have moved in the direction I looked to. How could it do that? Was the book reacting to my actions? I looked to my left, and looked back to it. The book seemed to react to me looking back, moving slightly right. It was weird at the time, for I had little knowledge of anything for the moment.
>- I was interested in reading the book so I picked it up. In that instant, I felt a surge of knowledge. The power from the book seemed to like my soul. It was like water to a sponge. I felt like I was able to conquer anything, but I felt the need for more knowledge, so I took the book to my chamber in the spire, though I didn't know I had a chamber in the spire. When I reached the chamber, it looked like it was more hostile. The air seemed to be more contaminated with dark essence, though I didn't care at the time. I put the book on a book stand that I constructed, with magic that I didn't know before, then started to learn more magic. The magic that lies within that book remains a mystery to this day.
>-->- Second Entry,
>- Days seemed to pass as I learned new magic, and tested the newer magic. My teacher, being worried, came looking for me. When she entered the chamber, I seemed to have some distaste for them, staring at them until they left. I don't know why I did that, though theories rise from these memories. Eventually, I learned enough magic to grab the attention of the ruler of the area. They came to my chamber and asked about my magic. I was not really interested on sharing my knowledge, though. None the less, they requested that I joined them as 'Head Commander' of the army. Being honored about this sudden enlistment, I joined their forces.
>- The first order was not exactly something to shatter a leaf. It was the next day when it was assigned. I scouted the outer edge of the known area, as the order stated. Finding little of importance, I returned with not much to report.
>-->- Third Entry,
After a long trek around the area, I noticed a strange object in a small valley. The object reminded me of some power I obtained a short time before, yet so much more. I returned to report, and they assigned me a new task. The task, now, was to scout the area that I saw this strange object. When I returned, I was with a few other soldiers. Their names meant nothing to me at the time, so I never remembered them. We went closer to the object and more details began to show. It seemed to be taking in, yet giving off, particles. When we got several units away, I felt the urge to leap into this 'thing.' The others didn't seem to be as excited as I was. So, I leaped into it. The others seemed to be hesitant, but they came in as well. I looked to see if I was in one piece, as did the others. After knowing there was no physical damage dealt, I moved on. The others followed, as ordered. The place we came to seemed to be a mix of cheer and pain. I never thought it was possible. As we pressed on, I could feel the pain dispersing, though the cheer was not really something I liked at the time.
>-->- Fourth Entry,
>- Without a known layout, we started to make a map of the place. Our magic could make the map, all we needed was to send it back to report. One day seemed to take forever, and the 'light' was no help. We traveled through the night just to be hidden from the light, that I loathed at the time. Certain images came to mind as we traveled across the plains. Some were of kind interactions, others were of cruel actions. At the time, I felt nothing about either, yet I cannot remember the images.
>- We saw a city on the side of a hill, and one of the soldiers suggested that we should search there. I agreed with them, and we started our trek to the city. The light didn't help with the climb, but eventually, we reached the entrance. Once we notice that this place was busy, I commanded that they stay as I search the place for the 'throne room.'
>-->- Fifth Entry,
>- With little knowledge of the city, I started to walk through the shadows. As the day turned to night, I felt more strength come over me. With this strength, I glided through the shadows with more ease. The light in the sky was nearly just overhead when I located the suspect 'throne room.' I went back to the others and notified them of this location. They cast a shadow cloak to hide them from the light, as did I. I guided them through the city just as the harsh light started to rise. We were at the front gates of the throne room, and we didn't see any guards. I thought this was the ruler of all the land, but apparently there was not much need for the guards. So, we waited for a bit.
>-->- Sixth Entry,
>- After a little pondering, we figured that there was too little time to wait any longer. The doors were bucked open by the stronger one of the group, and I jolted in through the shadows. The soldiers trotted to the ruler with anger showing on their faces. The ruler seemed to ask something, and they didn't understand so they continued. The strong soldier jumped on the second strongest soldier, who threw them at the ruler. The ruler dodged, yet a little shocked. The throne was tipped, which wasn't really detrimental. I jumped up to the ruler, made a shadow portal in the floor where I would land, and I would take the ruler with me. As we fell, the first thing I saw was light to pitch black, then there was a blinding light. The next thing I knew I was lying behind the tipped throne, hoping I was tossed aside, but the ruler had other plans.
