Like oh my gosh this RP is gonna be so steamy we should totally upload it to steam or something and take it over because it's just so amazingly awesome--er, I'm done. Sorry. x3
Is it all right for me to control the NPCs a little bit like I did in my first post? (controlling the guard taking my pass)

that's fine, as long as it's limited.

Magus may I play a youngling Alicorn. No godlike abilities. No overpowered magic. S/he will have normal developing unicorn based magic (No Twilight Sparkle type magic) and Basic none over the top flight training (No Rainbow Dash type flight). To be honest, s/he is still learning to fly with wings that is.

Er... why have an alicorn if s/he's not gonna be "godlike"? x3 That's kinda what they are...

Alicorns aren't all godlike beings, are they? Take Cadence for example her powers are very limited in the way it affects others and she doesn't control a large celestial body. Also, He is a young Alicorn. His main powers have yet to come into being. Think of him as a Mid teen teenager. He still has growing and learning to do.
Why do they have to always be considered OP?
Can't An Alicorn character be just a normal pony with a unique birth type. Yes, it does open up possibilities others don't have but still.

The trouble with that is that alicorns aren't a birth type... and Cadence cast a friend-or-foe-identifying force field over the entire Crystal Empire for several weeks on end. She ain't a pushover. xD They're not OP, they're beyond royalty. It's just... not a thing that an OC ought to be, in my opinion. Go ahead and ask Magus for his opinion on the matter in the Skype chat.

I'll go ahead and say yes, but it's a genetic anomaly and doesn't actually mean anything abilities-wise beyond a combination of pegasus and unicorn powers. And you'll probably be weaker than either a pegasus or a unicorn, since as a mortal you're splitting mana between flying and casting. Like having a human born with three arms or something.
