The Wanderer smiled kindly and patted the changeling on the back as He/She/It/They looked at the staff. "I/We will pay for any damages, if you deem it necessary. He is a friend of mine.

((I'm just going to assume that this isn't the first time the wanderer has been here, given the nature of the place.))
Beat took note of both The Wanderer's statement and presence. "Very Well, I know your good for it, Wanderer. Though, I do hope your friends don't make a habit of messing with the inventory. There's 'employee's only' signs there for a reason," She replied in turn; with a quick glance at the changeling. "That being said, how have you been this fine..." she pauses for a moment to check the time, "Evening. Sigh, even though this location is great for customers; I do find the inconstancy, in things like time, rather bothering." She shook her head looking rather discontent, before cheering herself up, and a smile reforming on her face. "Right. No need to be depressed over such minor details... Oh my look at me rambling right away. I hope your are not troubled by this," she continued, with her cheeks blushing.

The changeling smiles to the Wanderer and gives him/her/it/them a hug. Thank you.
He looks at Beat, still in the hug. No I'm not bothered by it. I'm having a great time here, everyone is so nice and talkative.

The Wanderer smiled and hugged back, then looked at Beat. "It is a fine establishment, milady."

The changeling holds the hug for a moment longer before he breaks it. A small blush colors his cheeks. I've hardly hugged anyone in my life.

The Wanderer smiled and patted the changeling on the back. "Well, I'm glad to have provided a rare opportunity, then. Glad and honored, my friend. It is for moments like this that I wander, and ever do I wonder at the goodness and hope that springs eternal from the hearts of all creatures, great and small, no matter how adverse the circumstances."

I think I belong in the 'small' category. he chuckles. I mean I'm not as small as I was before I had some of that cake that was in the closet, but I'm still a little guy. he blushes a little again.

Alfonso laughed out loud. "Aye, I've seen some creatures bigger, I have. Though the same might be said of all sorts of creatures, it may indeed. And bigger is not always better! There are giants with wits smaller than peas, and pixies whose plans span centuries, even long after their passing. 'Tis what we choose to do that defines us, I think!"

Pixies are...small creatures I guess? But you're probably right. I remember quite a few 'big idiots' from my travels.

Alfonso grinned. "Small as a breezie, clever as a lich. Clever as Tirek, some of them. Ah, the realms of Faerie, of the Nevernever stretching to infinity. The World Between Worlds, they once called it. As though the infinite realms of possibility were bubbles in a great sea... and the Nevernever that sea."
Wanderer sighed. "Yet even that analogy is flawed, for there is also the Void, and more and more, beyond even the reach of the Nevernever. There is the Outside, for if the Nevernever is a sea, it is a small sea within a bathtub, and the drain leads to places even you can scarcely begin to imagine. And I have walked them all."

Are these terrible places or wonderful places? Beyond the...Nevernever. he says, only barely catching what they just said.

The Wanderer smiled softly. "Wonderful and terrible. Beautiful and majestic. Inspiring wonder and awe. Inspiring terror. Beautiful and terrible as the dawn of the world. Powerful on a scale few have ever begun to dream of. But to walk those places, that is my fate. Is it good? One might as well ask whether the rising of the sun is 'good' or 'evil'. Certainly, if it is to your benefit, it is good. A nocturnal bat-pony would not think thusly. They herald the rising of the moon. But is either one good or bad? Neither, they simply are. Such is the way of the Outside."

I think I would like it there. I love the sun and the moon, though maybe the moon a little more. And maybe that land would be a little kinder to me. He wanted to say more, but he felt like he had butterflies in his stomach. He sighs and rubs his belly softly. Something doesn't feel alright.

Alfonso frowned in concern. "Is it, perchance, that cake thou didst eat?"

It could be the candy to-*deep gasp* The pink eyed changeling looks like he just lost his breath suddenly, followed by a puff of pink smoke that shrouds him. Once the magical cloud fades, their friend is revealed to be no bigger than a Breezie and he still looks out of breath.
