Time Energy: 3% Clockwork sat up with a groan form his form, wincing as he clutched at his head. " If...thys ygs anyothyr off..." he stopped, his vocal proceesor wheezing and spluttering as the last thing to come online, he coughed twice, a dusty, hallowed heaving from his chest as vents popped and hissed back online " If this is another...of Discord's tricks...I am going to enjoy...rearranging...his face...when I wrap...my..." He noticed the timepiece held out to him by the changeling creature, less holes, more whole, through steadily clearing vision and realised he had little energy remaining before he would lapse back into unconciousness. Snatching it away without so much as a greeting or thank you, wisps of ghostly blue bled from the thing in his hands, barely sating his hunger, but increasing his longetivity nonetheless. (Time Energy increased to 20%, due to the piece perhaps being small) The mechanoid before Chrysteel sprang to life, convulsing and screeching as limbs tipped with talons flailed sporadically, stretching and fighting an unseen foe in the air above him and around him. His claws ripping the volcanic floor as they gripped the earth, fist after fist pounding into it until his knuckles bled oil. Scant seconds had passed before the whirling violence abated, arms dropping loose to the side, splayed on the floor. "A little 'rage' I noticed. Some kind of rage towards something that is not here. I don't know if he will be okay after bashing his fists against this hardened rock." Shade responded. It seemed that Clockwork's 'rage' attracted Shadechaser's attention. "Something ye resent? I might not know that level of anger, but it might level off with my sorrow." Shade returned to the group and stood near, but not too close to, Clockwork. "All one needs is something to crave. A goal to achieve is all the logic one needs," Shade paused for a short moment, then resumed, "Discord must have this same logic, though targeted differently. We don't know why he does such things." Shade stops talking and looks toward the Chaos Capitol. Oh, how have the mighty has risen. Your fall might be short... but your structure is redundant. Hard to fell, but great to experience. Satisfaction of your actions will allow you to move on. Without that, you remain immovable.Clockwork glanced across as the last wisps of energy were absorbed, shakily standing and listening as his fists creaked into individual digits again. He had done a little damage to himself, but it was neseccary to get the one he hated from his mind " Anger hones the mind..." he said to the void aura creature " Sharpens it, cuts it down so fine it could slice an atom if it were a blade. I have my goal, and I know it well, for it has been my goal for longer than you..." he looks around, not focusing on anyone or thing at this current time " ...or any of you could understand to comprehend. I am Clockwork, Concept of Time, and I will see Discord and his land laid to ruin before I die." He picks up the pinkish-rose aura from past the changeling creature, to a bigger one. It radiated the love of lovers and the caring of mothers. Sickly though it was, Clockwork still found himself thankful that he was not the only Concept suffering. " Little sister." he greeted simply, rising to his full height. Though his cane did not complete the look many were so familiar with, his lanky, spindly figure was more than enough for intimidation and impressiveness.

The Queen of Avalon, gentle, frail-looking, in the form of a young alicorn and angel-winged changeling combination with pastel colored coat and mane, looked back steadily into the eyes of the towering, bipedal creature of metal and pure hatred, unblinking. The Concept of Time looked much grander, more powerful, scarred from uncountable eons of battle and war, fierce and without peer in knowledge, kingly as His name and title implied. Yet by a sense other than sight, the more gifted among them perceived that Cadance had a wisdom, power and majesty that was veiled, one which matched that of the One before Her, and yet was all the greater for that She hid it and used it in wisdom, for the good of all creatures, not just Herself and Her own ends.
"Brother. I cannot say that I am not surprised, but now that I see the truth, I understand that even this was foretold, veiled though the prophecy was. So run the threads and paths of Fate, Who lays out all paths for Us to choose and follow, and knows their every ending. Whither shall this path lead, which Our Sister has set out before Us? Who can say save Our Parents? But at last We are gathered here, together, and here shall many questions be answered, and new ones arise. The butterfly flaps her wings, Brother. We are met with a common Enemy. I ask only for help in overthrowing Him. Can We leave aside the plans of Father for a little while?"

Time Energy: 19% Clockwork stood still for a brief moment, before a horrid, rasping chuckle forced its way out of him. It wasn't a keeling-over laugh, nor was it humourless, but it was certainly menacing and vile as the being who coughed it from iron lungs. " Oh, poor simple Cadenza. Ever the naive to the plots and twists of others, ever the innocent and pure." the copper god said, moving forwards towards the Concept of Love, claws clicking outstretched " I see not much has changed since your glory days, still clinging to a falsehood of emotions, to Father's ideal of a perfect world..." he looked around at the inner sanctum, noticing but paying no heed to the dragon elder watching them. This was a meeting of minds, and they were staying out of it. Fear or respect, Clockwork cared little " ...still abysmal at designing defences." He stood in front of her now, gears and pistons within his form creaking and hissing as he bent at the waist down to her height " The plans I have for Father are always in motion, be I alive or dead." he said coldly, blue eyes illuminating her features " This rudamentary setback of Discord's design is a mere delay, but it is one I cannot, and will not tolerate." He straightened again, looking down at her, calculating, weaving a web of plans with each second ticking away inside of him " I will lend my abilities to this alliance, granted I am the one to make the final blow against Discord. I care very little for those you lost, if at all. Discord. Is. Mine... "

" I will lend my abilities to this alliance, granted I am the one to make the final blow against Discord. I care very little for those you lost, if at all. Discord. Is. Mine... " "I hope your final blow is not delayed with some talking, or gloating," Shade spoke, "We need every second we can capture. A single one in his presence might be our downfall if we miss it." Shadechaser walked away from the group, and returned to watching the sky. It seemed to be more 'attractive' than anything else to Shade. I hope this world won't fall back with a greater impact. There is nothing more painful than leaving a world that falls deeper into turmoil. I can't feel his presence here, but he might follow my little steps. Oh Lord, your land is ever great, and ever free from turmoil. Have you ever had a single moment of dread? Shadechaser seemed to sit there daydreaming, so very still. Not even a single sign of movement.

Asterian looked at Cadence with a slightly confused look. "Wait... My Queen, forgive me for speaking out of turn, but... Your Brother?" Starfall looked at Clockwork curiously, eyeing his figure to get a sense of as to how a mechanoid creature could be related to the Queen of Avalon.
He then listened to the being's talk towards Cadence, interrupting him on his talk of defenses. "Avalon has not fallen in... how long it was said? One thousand years? I have confidence in Cadence's plans."
At last, he listened to what the creature said about Discord, and that was where he had to interject. "Excuse me. Clockwork, wasn't it?" The white unicorn shook his head and looked at the Time God with a grim expression. "If you want Discord for unfinished business, then..." He would have said "get in line", but something stopped him, and instead he voiced, "... so long as it is reasonable." The purple sparks in his eyes flared at those words as he realized he had given away his chance for revenge to somepony else he hardly knew.
True Generosity, and everypony there knew it.

The Queen of Avalon only smiled softly, rejecting the bait that was offered. "You are right concerning one thing, Brother. I do not know the full truth, the plans-within-plans, which keep this moebius loop in eternal stasis. It may be that even Discord Himself is ultimately a pawn in an even greater scheme unawares. Do you seek to consume the powers of Discordance and Destruction and Havoc's Avatar combined? For You know as well as I that Our counterparts can no more be destroyed by mere might or magic than We. How many life-ages of the last universe have You planned, Brother? But You are bound by Our Sister as much as any of Us. Only Our Parents are not thusly bound. But if it will satisfies Your desires of the moment, then this may I offer: to allow You the finishing blow - IF it is truly Discord at work, and IF it is within My ability and power to do so. But no plan survives the enemy, as the saying goes. I do not know the future. I do know in My heart of hearts that this conversation is familiar, and I fear that We may be fated to repeat it for all eternity, until Our Parents call Us home. But who am I to say?"

When Laserbolt's question was not answered, he turned to repeat himself. "Your Maje-" He saw the automaton sitting on the ground spewing his righteous lies to Queen Chrysalis. "YOU." He yanked his hoof away from the hourglass, and stomped over to Clockwork, nothing but hatred and loathing in his eyes. "What's your plan this time, huh? Gonna destroy this timeline just like the last? Trick us all into doing your dirty work and turn on us at the last second?" His snout was inches away from Clockwork's face. "Where's your army, huh, Clockwork? No doubt somewhere in the castle. You're gonna use us like bait, aren't you? AREN'T YOU!?" In that last exclamation, Clockwork saw the whites of Laserbolt's eyes flash a dark yellow, and his coat darkened just a bit, and only for a second.

Chrysteel seams a little anoid about the fact Bolt just got into clockworks face. She says, "bolt, please stop this. we are in the presents of the dragon high ones. discord knows all to well that the prophecy is coming. We need to not fight amongst each other right now. Discord will come to use this against us if we can't put our differences aside. I know about the last time, as does mother and more then likely clockwork too." Though hesitant Chrysteel steps upto them and with her 1000 year honed telekinesis, she moves and holds Bolt at bay to give Clockwork a little room. "Right now we need to focus on the more common enemy here. That enemy being Discord. Other affairs can wait for now."

Time Energy: 19% The copper god was bringing his sharpened talons around in a flash, the little insect was here too?! " HOW ARE YOU HERE?!" he screeched, fingers rippling the air where Laserbolt stood before being yanked away from reach by the changeling. This was...impossible! In all but few universes across time and space, there was always a version of him, goading, fighting, challenging the fates of his wreched organic design! " I have seen you on the killing feilds of other worlds, a face in the crowd of coronations, funerals, wars! Palty peasant and aide to the sisters and between...!" Clockwork stood, seething, boiling, his eyes ignited in hot blue light as he sought to deconstruct the enigma before him... " What...ARE YOU?!" he demanded of the white coated unicorn, stuck hovering in the grasp of the telekinetic barrier.

Laserbolt grinned. "Let him go! I insist. Let's see what the murderer will do. Probably what he does best." He stepped closer to him, his smile melting off his face. "Why is it that whenever I try to fix something, you constantly work to impede me, Clockwork? At the costs of thousands, nay, millions of millions of lives? Just because you. Weren't. Winning." He growled the last word, the animosity building in him. "You're a monster, Clockwork. And I will not let you stop us all this time." Laserbolt turned around, and grabbed the book, sliding it into his bag. "Where should I wait for all of you? I'm not staying here with that thing."

Chrysteel says, "Bolt please don't do this. and clockwork, even you know there are many a thing even the fate do not yet show they understand. Right now we must work on the common goal. Bolt until you decide to let him slide for now I will hold you in my telekinesis. I much like Greedity have honed all my skills over the last 1000 years I have been apart of this world. Bolt do you remember FEAR. That dracconaquis you me and a few others faced. I still have the bow from that dungeon. I know many probably miss me but I did what I did for the best of the team. Even I knew what that Harmonic Reunion spell could do and what the price was for using its final combo. Can we please for the LOVE of Faust, Stop this bickering and get to the real problem. Discord has this world and we all want in our own way to beat him. So I have a proposal to both of you. For now work together to achieve this common goal then By all means go at each other's throats. Lets deal with Discord first, please." Clockwork and cadence noticed that Chrysteel's aura got allot stronger in the last few moments. It seams even Chrysteel has a few extra secrets she has been keeping. What Cadence and/or clockwork may have noticed was that a small flash came from within her bag when she spoke about fear and the word love.
((Magus I leave to you who noticed the flash. Also, Bolt you are the one held in the telekinesis. Clockwork is too weak right now to put up too much of a fight. even Chrysteel knows this or she wouldn't have given him the clock to begin with.))

Asterian walked between the bickering copper bipedal and the pony, interjecting. "If I may... You may both be rivals to one another, but the enemy of your enemy is your friend. In no other sense does that apply more than here.
Laserbolt, honestly think about this for a moment from a logical perspective. Do you think that Clockwork would actually be capable of using us as pawns? Even better, do you think we would let him?" The unicorn then looked towards the copper construct. "Clockwork, do you really think Laserbolt to be so petty? I would have thought from your grandeur for you to be above such behavior."
He then noticed Chrysteel having... changed in a sense of things. He kept a mental note as to why before continuing on. "'The enemy of my enemy is my friend.' Without hesitation, I can say that applies to every living being in this room right now, and we all have a common disgust with Him. Whatever reason we have for this may be personal, general, or something of both, but the point is we have a purpose to unite for, and is that not why we are here?"

Laserbolt stayed silent for a moment, fuming to himself. He sighed, and turned around. "If, for one moment, I suspect something malicious from you, Clockwork, I'll be certain to send you straight to Tartarus, where you belong." He walked back to the group, and sat next to Asterian. He leaned in towards the unicorn's ear, and whispered, "I know that you may not know what I know. For the sake of this world, I hope I'm wrong about it. When this is all over, we need to contain him, before he destroys everything. Understood? I understand him better than anyone here, I'd wager. Even Chrysalis." He leaned back again, and glowered at Clockwork, then turned to Tiamat, and Bahumat. "I'm sorry for my outburst, your majesties, as you can probably guess, I'm not on good terms with Clockwork."

Shade looked back upon hearing the outburst. "I believe that we are here. Not just an image displayed from some contraption, but truly here to aid in the fall of the one that lacks a true rhythm. If we are to fight among ourselves, then the music would become so poor, it would be expelled. I don't want to leave the cause just because it looks grim." After a short pause, Shade continued, "If this mech knows more than anyone else here, he might have a few good pointers... but that doesn't mean he is our leader, not by a long shot. The ones that have been here longer than anyone else, that truly have knowledge of the residents, are more worth the leadership." Shade turned to the sky, "I am not one of this place... not one with the flow... more like a waterlily... moves up and down the stream. Being picked up just for fun and dropped off at a different location. No one else knows how it feels... being pulled out of nowhere and placed in the middle of nowhere."Shadechaser returns to the spot to watch the sky once again. "There is nothing worse than being taken from those you knew so much about, and never seeing them, nor hearing from them ever again."

Time Energy: 18% Fists balled and vents steaming at the fact such an impossibility existed even here, Clockwork hissed, but said nothing more on the subject, glowering at Laserbolt before beginning to pace, mind already ticking away at a plan to combat the hated foe. The enemy of thy enemy is thy friend? What a foolish notion, and enemy is an enemy wherever one looked at it, but there were two sorts of enemies. Ones that delayed plans and ones that interfered completely, right now Laserbolt was teetering between the two like a pakiderm on a tightrope. "From last I looked, Discords fortress of lies is an everchanging structure, no corridor is similar, no doorway the same. There is, however, one thing it always is..." he swiped up a piece of cooled stone, turning it in his hands "...physical. it has substance, form, dare I say even taste in some cases. And if something is physical, it can be destroyed. However, due to Discord being the, I use this term loosely, architect, a frontal assault would be, expected and easily nullified, as would attempting to sneak inside via an alternative means." he turned to face the great dragon watching over them silently "Tiamat, your children have no doubt flown around or near the castle, are there any points which do not change from the air?" He turns to Cadence, about to ask how many assaults have been made on the capital when his audio sensors registered something she said. A moebius loop? Discord, a pawn as much as everyone else was? He would have to inquire further, where prying ears could not hear them speak of matters only Gods should know. "Meet me upstairs on the western balcony when this meeting is ajourned..." he said quietly, almost a mutter only those with incredible hearing could make out...
