Asterian's mouth dropped open at the sight of what the box contained. It was his quill. His quill that his mother had given him so many years ago, forgotten in time as was that fated day. Starfall just looked at Chrysteel, and a few seconds later, embraced her tightly, crying in her shoulder as he felt a force flow through him. "Chrysteel, thank you!" he said before a soft glow began to emerge. Asterian looked up and what he saw was shocking, even for him.
His horn was alight, and he was holding the quill in his grasp. He looked back at the magical yellow field and continued to cry softly. The lock was shattered. He was free from his burden at last.

Chrysteel held him tenderly like a mother holding her child. She whispers in his ear, Her voice not her own, "It is going to be alright. You see We were here the whole time. She helped us help you. I know you know what to do from here, my son." When he looks upon the one holding him, he sees his mother or what looks to close to his mother he can't tell the difference. It lasts only a moment before there is a flash and the seal representing the Chrystal Empire Lights up before his and Chrysteel's eyes. Chrysteel now holding him lets him continue to cry as much and for as long as he needs to. Several years to several hundred years of pent up loss needed to be released this night. Chrysteel stays with him the entire night if need be. Chrysteel says to him, "It seems somepony is trying to send a message. I guess that message will have to be delivered before we can make sense out of it right, Asterian. Tonight You sleep like royalty." Chrysteel is trying to keep his spirits up so discord doesn't try to claim him again.

Asterian smiled, silver streaks still flowing down his eyes. His words were taken from him as he saw the vision of his mother before him. It was a little unnerving to see a phantom like that, but it was comforting nonetheless. After Chrysteel said her peace, he had a thought of action. "Chrysteel..." he floated the golden feather over to her. "I want you to have this. You've done more for me in a day than the world has in sixteen years. You've given me a purpose and my magic back. You gave me life itself.
Have this. Maybe this quill will grant you good luck." He smiled, awaiting Chrysteel's response.

Shadechaser started to walk the roads, hoping to find someone to give some information about the current situation, but without a word none would know what is desired, yet not a word would be spoken by Shade. Necroscale stays near the tree for more comfort. He started to sing some words that not a single soul would understand right off. The logic might have started to get to Necro, but Shade doesn't seem to notice while leaving the area of the tree.
I hope there will be some kind of hints for the current state of this world. Shade thought while turning a corner, I don't think I could interact with the residents here, without making a small link. That could cause some trouble with the other places I travel.

Bane awakes from his slumber and arises from his place of rest. I have to find a way to let off some of this lingering energy, it will make much trouble once we leave. He wanders Avalon, looking for a place to release small amounts of energy without having to affect the surroundings around him. I wished she wouldn't have done that and let me rest. But I shouldn't argue with her, if she chooses it then so be it. To those whose magical power is high, can see the magical energy trail left behind by Bane as he wanders Avalon.

Chrysteel is shocked that Asterian would give away a precious item such as this to somepony he just meet nonetheless. She thinks, " How generous of him to give up the most precious thing he has in the world right now." Chrysteel says as she receives the feather, " How sweet of you. I know this feather quill means allot to you. I will take very good care of it. Would you like to spend the remainder of the evening with me?" Chrysteel lets him cry as much as he needs to, so as to help him loosen up and be more himself. She holds him in the same manner as his mother always did and she doesn't feed on his love for his family. She doesn't need to. She, unlike the rest of the angel winged changelings, never needed to feed on love, or emotions for that matter, to survive.

Asterian smiled, "I think I would like that, milady." His tears had stopped and his face no longer bore a look of sadness. Only peace remained. His thoughts seemed to walk down a pathway... Thought through thought until there was no more sorrow and no more pain.
Asterian continued smiling as he walked back to the fountain. Looking into it, he realized for the first time in forever... "Wow. I look terrible. Heh, the forest does things t- Wait... What the..." He looked closer, scanning over his own eyes. He thought he was hallucinating from the emotional moment, but...
Starfall saw purple shards inside his golden iris, flowing through him like a long-forgotten energy. "Chrysteel, do my eyes look odd or am I seeing things?"

Chrysteel looks him in his eyes and says, "They looks fine to me. you must be regaining some of the magic you never knew you had. One thing is sure though, Your eyes remind me of a friend I knew long ago. So full of hope. So full of promise. Make sure to work your magic out the next few days ok. you will want to practice with it to gain a full feel for it again." Chrysteel motions as if to say 'follow please.' and starts heading off to an area not many are going this time of day or even at all. as she heads that way she says, "I want to show you something. It is something I cherish just as much as I do my friends." She guides him next to the castle to a garden with a sign that has her name on the sign. "It is inside. Only myself and my sister Rendia ever go here. It is also where I come on nights where I can't sleep. You will be the first to enter besides me and Rendia." Chrysteel's horn flairs to life with the magic of 1000 years of growth can give. Her next few words are unidentifiable to Asterian, but he can tell they are a spell of some sort. the barrier over the entry way is now gone and she begins to head inside. She waits for Asterian before lapsing her magic flow.

Asterian follows Chrysteel to her destination, still wondering as to what the spark in his eyes was. He was not certain if he was hallucinating, but that sliver of purple had to mean something... That did not matter so much now, though.
When they arrive at the doorway, Asterian listens to what Chrysteel has to say. "I will be the first aside your caretaker to enter here?" The unicorn felt honored. Such trust was shown to him, just as many other things had been shown to him already. He follows Chrysteel inside the room, his curious nature aroused as he stepped through the portal.

As Asterian is looking around He notices quite a few things. One, the inner walls have fire scorching all over them like this area has been burnt before. Two, there is a bunch of plants that are not seen above here. There is also, because it is night time right now, a large blueish butterfly like creature. The creature looks to be readying itself to take off as Asterian enters. Chrysteel makes a motion and says, " It is ok Lunara. He is a friend. I want to show him the Dome beyond here and this garden is the best place to get a view of in the valley bellow. His name is Asterian." She looks to Asterian and says, " This is Lunara, a Lunar Butterfly. She is a very rare creature of the Everfree now. I found her egg about 500 years ago after an incident, that happened here in Avalon." Just behind the butterfly is what looks to be a corpse of a larger butterfly with eggshells under it. the corpse looks to have been shielding the eggs from what ever happened to this place. Chrysteel says, " What I want to show you is just beyond here in the valley bellow. It is the keepsake of Avalon and the source of many of our words. We children of Avalon are the protectors of a great secret and this secret is our keepsake." Chrysteel leads Asterian past the Lunar Butterfly to a cliff overlooking a valley. It is just under an overhang near to them on the opposite wall that Asterian sees what he might think is a myth made real. Could it be the ancient tree that started it all? Could it be the famous tree depicted in one of the pictures in the dinning hall? Could it be The Tree of Harmony? The tree is covered in a shield like dome that gives off the same aura glow as both Lady Cadence and Chrysteel. The aura that matches Chrysteel's aura is a lot stronger then Lady Cadence's aura.

Asterian bows to Lunara, kindly greeting her, "Nice to meet you."
Afterwards, he moves on to see what the secret might be. What he sees stuns him completely. "M... Mon dieu..." He gazed at the crystalline Tree in awe, knowing that though he had no memory of seeing it, he knew exactly what it was. He felt a calming, still feeling running through him. It was strange; somehow he felt connected to the Tree... almost like he was a part of It... or It was a part of him.
"Chrysteel... Th-this is... This is amazing... but... you've hardly known me. You knew nothing about me before today. Why be so trusting?"

Chrysteel shakes her head, "I am not as trusting as you might think Asterian. I could have taken you to it directly but I chose to show it to you from afar because only mother has been able to reach it from this distance. even I need to use relay points for my power to reach the tree. without the elements to power it, it's taking much of my power and some of mother's to keep it alive. Besides harmony is something this world needs and it is not our place to hide it, but protect it. This is why we of Avalon, no matter how many times Avalon itself it ruined, always rebuild. The corpse you saw earlier and the butterfly were the original guardians of the tree along with the rest of the ever free forest. After an incident 500 years ago, We the children of Avalon took up the mantle of protecting it. it saved us and we save and protect it. Soon the time for it's full power to be unleashed again will come. I can feel it, Harmony is returning to the land, and with it will come the prophecy of the chosen. Tomorrow we visit Lady Tiamat, Queen of dragons. I have personal business with her and her mate. Come let us retire. Here in Avalon Asterian, you are safe and safe, I will do my best to make sure, you will be. Come let me guide you to your room. I am not tired, so I will be up practicing and studying for the events to come. you however will need your rest." Chrysteel guides him out deactivating the door seal and reactivating it once he has exited the garden.
She guides him to his room. It is here she says, "Be well My friend Asterian. Remember We are always with you." When she says the last of her words he can sense his mother or her aura near by. Chrysteel shakes her head and says, "I really got to get a control on that. Goodnight Asterian and may your dreams have no nightmares."

Asterian smiled as Chrysteel went on, relishing the sound of a friendly voice. When she had finished, he said, "If you did not trust me, you would not have taken me to see Avalon's most treasured relic, nor would you have helped me... and were I untrustworthy, I would be an agent, and I could have killed you. I could do it... NOW!" He ignited his horn, a fierce look upon his face. He knew, though, that this would startle her, and he quickly faded away back into his normal self as he walked towards the exit, chuckling a little. "Fortunately for you and all of Avalon, I am not a spy. I hope to be considered a friend in the eyes of you and the Queen... Forgive me for that, but a wise stallion told me 'Death smiles on us all. All we can do is smile back.' Maybe what this world needs is some Laughter... Kindness... Honesty... Loyalty... Generosity..." His voice cracked a little on the final word, and the same purple slivers sparked in his eyes as he said the word. "The world needs a gift of freedom..." He did not notice the change in his voice, continuing on in his walk as Chrysteel accompanied him.
As they left the room, he knelt down before Chrysteel and declared, "By life or by death, I will aid you in your quest and I shall, with my last breath, serve Equestria for the good of its survival. Know that I serve Equestria, not you, but if need be to relinquish it from His grasp, I would do so." He rose and continued his vow. "I will not rest until He is nothing... If we succeed, promise me that you will allow me to settle unfinished business with Him."

Chrysteel nods and says, "As long as your unfinished business isn't to kill him then I wont. But all things happen for a reason and his death isn't one of them. At least not by us. We are only the ones to bring his reign to an end. Let his judges decide if he is to live or die. His fate is in her hooves. His judgment is in the hooves of the elder ones. We were chosen to see him at their door. This is all I know about the fate of the chosen. Our actions and choices affect every aspect of our world and we are the ones who will give our world hope. Rest for now Asterian. We can worry about what comes next tomorrow. Good night Asterian."
Chrysteel opens his door for him. She showed a defensive stance to his action but when it faded, she didn't drop her guard but she did lower her stance.

Without Shade's presence, Necro feels a bit more in the dark. He stops his random word song, and then states to no one, "Why do I not try to stop that one? Well... I can't start looking for 'm when I didn't track their path. This is going to be more like that one time I lost my way in the forest." After finishing his statement, he let out some air. He saw his own breath, but it was neither too cold for that, nor with any fire. After a moment of trying to understand, he laid down just to rest.
Somewhere in Avalon, Shade was just walking about not really watching what was happening past five pony-lengths away. After walking past the tower in the middle of Avalon, Shade looked up, then whispered to herself, "Without words and wisdom, you might not figure why you were brought here. That tree seemed to have some significance. We don't know what time or what reason that tree seemed to pull at a string within the mess that is in your head." Shade looked to the ground at hoof, then started to draw signs, but not making sense until moments after the fourth pause. Shade said after completing the signs, "Tree from long ago, one which stood time itself upon creation. Thou art not lost, just hidden. Could time help this soul's disorderly mind, or would it fall more to his hands?" Nothing visually happened, though Shade could feel some other being close, but ignores it for the most part.{Signs}They appear to be some kind of tree pattern, but what would cause Shade to say that stuff is not obvious.
