The sunlight shines brightly as it cast over its light onto the school. Here at Aequaliter Nubila University they only accept the best of the best and should you not be able to fulfill your potential, don't expect a very long stay here. The courtyard is already bustling with early bird students getting ready for class or meeting up with long time friends since over the break. Go have fun and make use of your few moments of peace before the bell rings.

Rhilin was walking through the courtyard trying to get her bearings. With her was her weapon of choice and a map of the school and it's grounds that they hand out to first year students. She was navigating the sea of students without looking away from the map for long.

Drifter is sitting in some secluded spot in the courtyard, watching the crowds of students bustle through trying to get to class or meet up with old friends. He sighs, then looks up at the sky. "And thus, another year has begun. What will fate hold for us now?"
He gets up from his spot and picks up his bow and quiver that sat next to him. He slings quiver and bow to his back and puts his hood up, hiding mostly his head and face. He walks into the crowd of students, however, he doesn't seem to be going in a certain location or direction.

Vextal skip around the building as she tries to memorize all of the layout. So far she had only seen the building once before today and that was when she was accepted into the university, but even then it wasn't really the most detailed tour ever. The excitement that was bubbling inside of her was being portray quite clearly all over her face. After all it was a whole new school, meaning there are a lot of new faces to see. 'Hopefully these new playmates would provide some more fun than back home. Such a bore they were and so easily broken.'
The bell hasn't rung yet so this was the best time to keep an eye out for other newbies that were going to join her year. They are such an easy find with their confuse and utterly lost looks gracing their face. Her ears perk up as she spotted a couple and head towards their direction. Though it would've been best to tone down the excitement, but then again where's the fun in that?

Suddenly Rhilin stopped dead in her tracks. 'I don't know where I need to go!' she thought and reached for a piece of paper that contained her classes and the rooms they were in. Rhilin then looked at both the map and the schedule, trying to figure out where she is and how to get to class.

Drifter stops and looks around. He crouches down, disappearing into the crowd of students. He removes his hood and crouch walks past a couple of students before standing up in a different spot. He then proceeds to observe the area while casually blending in. 'Something doesn't feel right. I might have to keep a low profile until the bell rings or something happens.'

'Now there's an easy one over there.' Vextal thought as she spotted one all by themselves. The poor girl was concentrating over the papers she was holding onto, probably lost. Lightly walking over to her, Vextal stop beside her as she tilt her head and said "Need some help there?" With a big grin donning her face.

Rhilin looked up from her papers. "Oh hello. I'm just trying to figure out where my class is." she said while looking at the girl who approached her.

"You must be new here, that's good I'm also new here too. So which classes do you have? We can look for them together." Vextal chirp, as her tails sway from side to side.

Rhilin notices the three tails behind the girl but doesn't pay much attention to them. "Well...here they are." she says and shows Vextal the schedule she has for the month.

Towards the fountain, a figure in a wide-brimmed hat and trench-coat flipped one of his cards around in his hand, eyeing the other students like a sentinel. The crowd was a mix of peaceful chaos as his eyes glowed a soft gold, three other cards, also glowing, floating up from his self-made "card quiver" and into his hand, placing the original into its quiver. He looked at them carefully. The Magician. Well, that was expected. Sournois tried to excel at his power, no matter what that meant.
Death. An understood change that, if accepted, would mean less suffering and better renewal.
The last one made no sense. The Empress? What about him could possibly be appealing, in any way, shape, or form? Sure, he acted like a charmer, but... still. He gave a soft grunt and stared at the last card. The Empress... He never drew that card.
After a good several minutes, he put the card away, straightened his hat and took out a different card and began to flip it around in his hand as before.

Drifter finishes his observation and separates himself from the crowd. He finds a secluded spot and sits down and watches. 'I may have dodged encounter with a very peculiar student. Though generally, everyone here is strange, myself included. But that grin.... I may have to watch out for that one.' He pulls out two pieces of paper from his sleeves: one containing the map of the school and the other containing his scheduled classes. He skims through then, trying to remember what time he has his classes and where. He puts the papers back into his sleeves and continues to watch.

Sournois continued his "card trick", paying little mind to the rest of the students around him, and they seemed to be doing the same in return. That is, until something, or rather someone, caught his eye. A white-haired girl with tails talking to another, slightly shorter girl. Certainly not the strangest thing I've seen, he thought. With another flash from his eyes, he pulled another card from its home and observed.
The High Priestess.
Another different-than-usual guess. She was cute, no doubt about that, but she was definitely not his type. Nonetheless, he concluded it might be a decent idea to cultivate a reputation other than one he achieved on the underground gambling circuits. He put his cards away and began to walk over to the pair in stride, his coat trailing behind ever-so-slightly.

"Well since we're first years all of our classes are held on the first floor." Vextal's brow knitted together as she tries to rack through her memories of the school. "Also the classes are separated between the east wing and the west wing. You can tell by the letters next to the class room numbers. See?" She pointed it out on the schedule. "From the looks of this, it seems like we got a lot of classes together. I look forward spending time with you."
Suddenly she put her hand over her mouth as a surprise look appear on her face. "Oh how rude of me, I totally forgot to introduce myself first didn't I?! Ehh... and here I told myself I wouldn't do this anymore." Vextal knock her head gently as she feign remorse. Though it didn't last long as the next moment she was back to her peppy self. "So starting from the beginning, the name's Vextal it's a pleasure to meet you!"

Rhilin listened to the explanation on the school's layout until the girl stopped and put her hand on her mouth. "I'm Rhilin. It's nice to meet you too!" she responded. "So which way?"
