Personality: Steam acts a little goofy sometimes, but when dealing with friends or young ones he takes on a protective carrying nature. Don't get on his bad side though he can get a bit, brutal.

Personality: Serious when she feels need to, Brags sometimes (But rarely) When she completes a huge feat, Sometimes sarcastic.
Cutie Mark/Talent: Cutie Mark is a white and yellow sun with an energy beam flying from it. Talent is Light magic of all types.

Power: High levels of physical, mental, and magical ability.
Hometown: Ponyville
Bio: Blazing Sun was born at exactly midday with a fast learning ability, which her parents thought it was a blessing. She learned to speak (Her vocal cords developed faster than normal... Don't ask.), to walk, and even to use magic MUCH faster than the average Unicorn. It was only a small spark of magic on the first try and was disappointed because of it, but she didn't give up. she researched on many different kinds of magic, but her favorite was Light Magic. When she first tried it, she went for a hard one, which was a beam. Despite that, it did work, but it was small. She tried over and over and over, every single day. after a week, the size of the beam tripled, and she didn't realize that she also got her Cutie Mark! At least, not 'till that night, in which her parents told her to sleep in a basket. Little did she know, that she was going to be abandoned. The next morning, she found herself in the middle of ponyville, where she was taken to an orphanage. She grew up with a bunch of bullies, where from time to time she ended up beating them up with her magic. She left at age 7, and ever since has been training everyday, both physically and mentally, as well as her magic.

I was a bit hesitant to follow when it moved to this forum board, but what the heck, I'll join in. Name: Sparky Age: 9 Gender: Colt Appearance: brownish-tan coat, mane and tail grey and white. Loves to wear his lab coat. (Pony Creator is great for the artistically impaired)  Personality: Excitable, quirky, stumbles over words sometimes when speaking emphatically, loves to share some of his creations with others, but also fears that ponies won't like them, so tries not to draw too much attention. Sometimes speaks in techno-jargon. Extreme technophile. Cutie Mark/Talent: Gears/Tinkerer. Pony Type: Earth Power: Creation and usage of advanced technology (personal vehicles, robots, flying machines, and much more) Hometown: Outskirts of Filly Delphia Bio: From a young age, Sparky was a handful for his parents. Sparky would take things apart. Any household item that had more than one piece would surely be disassembled. It started with things like the door handle to his room and the walls of his crib. The mailbox being combined with a vase and turned into a whirlpool maker was just the beginning. Soon cranks and levers were fashioned out of utensils, and all of the thread in the house was turned into multi-strand string and wrapped around pulleys. Hoof-made cogs and gears cluttered the floor of Sparky's room. Not wanting their house to be destroyed, but also not wanting to restrain this odd gift that their son had, Sparky's dad built him a work shed in the yard. From there, Sparky took off with creations and inventions. He made his own forge to cast metal parts, discovered magnetic rock and how it interacts with various metals, and soon learned the magic of electric generators. No more lemon batteries for Sparky. On occasion, moving parts would break holes in the wall and minor explosions would occur, but Sparky would never quit. With this odd talent, Sparky's parents thought he may need an extra special education environment, or at least a better facility for him to continue his independent studies while still getting a more well-rounded education. Also, since Sparky grew up without any peers, they thought it'd be healthy for him to try making a few friends around his age. After a bit of searching and talking it over with Sparky, they put in Sparky's application to Unusua Academy. The first attempt they made was rejected, so they sent Sparky himself there with a new application, and suggested he use his Powered Wing to get there, just to give the dean of admissions a better idea of what to expect from this talented little colt. |

Perhaps I should have elaborated what I was thinking instead of just punching in "mechanically inclined." The extraordinary thing about Sparky is that he by himself without any supplies or things to disassemble for parts, is utterly useless. But once he gets a hold of some materials (either raw materials or scavenged from something), he constructs things well beyond the level of technology found in Equestria. Personal motorized transport, robots, and flying machines are just a few things within his capability, given the resources to do so. He'll have kind of a steampunk-ish style, though not restricted to that. His weakness is that it does take him time and effort to create these things. Unusua Academy has the resources he would need to excel, and would also provide him with the peer social setting he's never had before, which can make for fun awkwardness along with his extreme technophilia. What do ya say, give it a shot perhaps? If ya read toward the end of his Bio, his parents put in a lot of effort to get him admitted to Unusua Academy. I'd hate for the whole family to be disappointed by a letter of rejection.  I'll be updating the character profile a bit to better reflect this, though I did want to keep him as an earth pony with no magical abilities (though his technology would seem like magic to many). |

Cutie Mark/Talent: Cutie mark is a brush with a rocket engine on the end, and paint flicking off the end. Her talent is graffiti, but she also takes pride in her rollerskating prowess, and singing.
Pony Type: Pegasus
Power: Is able to store kinetic energy as she moves, and expend it all at once. For example, if she were to run along a long street, she'd be able to use the kinetic energy to launch herself up onto a building, or focus it all into a hoof to break down a wall.
Hometown: Good ol' Ponyville!
