"If you say so. I'm no expert at hearts."

Chrysteel says, "It is a part of what and who we are. These creatures seam to be missing a heart. That of course would fall into my domain. It is so one can create new life and for you new souls. The two of us would work with each other, so new lives could be formed. Clockwork gives time a meaning. With that also come the length of time to which a soul can remain within their given shell or body. After that time has ran out or by unusual situations, The Aspect of death would show to claim the spirit and bring it before the one to ferry them to either the after life or to you to be reborn. It depends on how one wishes to run their little world. More importantly, how the mortals portray the passing of one life and into the next. Each of us here were once mortals ourselves. So with that we know that time is the key to how long we can survive before our bodies naturally give out." Chrysteel brings fourth the gift she made but it seams to be incomplete. "As you can see I started the creation of the heart but without something to hold it, the heart would just give out. Through clockworks time and earth's core the heart can be use to give a lifespan to the mortals we make. Also without a heart they would have no emotions, such as love." Clockwork bobs his head in agreement, his infinite gaze turning to Chrysteel " Pehaps not all of us were mortals, but your thesis is correct, if off. A heart would require that which you create, it would also need Time to keep it beating, both Light and Darkness to give it will, alongside a soul to power it and give it fear of death." Clockwork's gaze shifts to Laserbolt, eyes pulsing starlight whilst he seemed to consider something, but quickly shakes it off " Fear will drive all things into the next stage of evolution. A fear of death encourages one to eat, to sleep, to grow in both size and intelligence. What will become of this planet's populus I do not know, but fear must drive it from the point of extinction and into the stars. Those that fail to fear..." he gestures at Laserbolt " ...will be Death's charge alone..."

Laserbolt smiled in spite of himself. "Well, I didn't ask to be a god to sit around and do nothing! 'course, that is sort of a final step in the process. Once you all are done with your thing, I'll do mine. Can't wait to get to the point where they start celebrating death. That's always fun."

"Well, I'm done for now. All souls have found their new hosts." Night commented.

"Neato! Do you know which one was created first? Kind of important."

Chrysteel chuckles and points to bolt's waist and says, "I think that would be of help to you. I have given them that which they need. That scroll of yours should have A. their names and B. how long they have left. I think that it is the essential tool for you to be not without, because it holds the lives of many in your hooves."

Laserbolt pulled out the scroll, and raised an eyebrow. "Kind of low-key for the Lord of Death, isn't it? Ah, well. It'll do for now." He put it away, then realized how he must have come across. "Um... thank you. This is going to be a big help until I set up something..." He struggled for a word that wouldn't offend Chrysteel. "...else."

Chrysteel shakes her head and says, "The two things I listed are only part of what the scroll can do. It, I believe, also tells you where they are going to be at the time they are to be claimed. It is a common tool for an aspect of death to use. Your ability to go back and forth to the ferry, with the help of time and space, would also allow you to be right on time for somepony's passing. You would show up right before they are to die. Your touch is the only thing that can finalize their death. As for what you look like that is a prospective. You could be the most hideous thing in the known universe or you could be the most beautiful thing in the universe to one who is dying. It is really up to you."

Night Shine just watched as the gods and goddesses talked to each other without having anything of importance to say.

Laserbolt was about to say something to Chrysteel, then turned to the newly empowered creatures. "Hold that thought." He turned, and floated over to them. "I'm gonna start my thing, anyone else want to finish their business before I start mine?"

"Mine is done for now." Venus says. "I still have my bigger project to work on. but I need earth's help on that one. As well as light, darkness, yours miss Night Shine and Clockwork's. It is a base template for what the more corporeal beings will have and it isn't going to be small when done. Would you be willing to help a mare out?"

"Why make a temple for corporal beings? Why not a place for everypony that can visit, instead?" Night pondered out loud.

Venus shakes her head and says, "It is not going to be a temple." Tech intervenes before she gets upset and says, "A template is a basic design for something you wish to make. with it you have not only the grounds of which to build from but also a base from which to make improvements to over time."

"I'm sorry, I misheard. But why do we need a template? We could make new additions and new spirits in no time. And besides that's our job, I don't wanna become jobless so soon..."

Laserbolt piped up. "I concur with Night on this one; we seem to be perfectly adept at our own realms, right?" He turned to the creature. "Now, which one of these was created first?"
